@@anubisgod23 Face the facts mate Trott couldn't play the short ball. In the ashes series in 2013-2014 his confidence was shot to pieces ( mainly because of Mitchell Johnson) to the point he left the tour early citing mental issues. The West Indies like everyone else knew Trott was hopeless against the short ball and that was the final nail in the coffin for his career
@@jimmyg33 the actual facts is that Trott had been suffering from severe depression and anxiety disorder for years and the stress of international cricket was too much for him No one but mental illness is to blame for his retirement. Johnson had literally nothing to do with it
The second dismissal, lbw by Starc.. the ball seemed to be an inswinger in real time, coming in to trott, might have hit middle and leg anyway.. but HawkEye showing the ball continue to move towards off stump. Same happen in Pak vs NZ test in Dubai when Shan masood declared out by HawkEye incorrectly. HawkEye and Ball Tracker technology needs serious attention
When he was facing johnson, he struggled against him and i'm unsure it played a part of his mental health! he cites his increasing struggles facing the short ball as a principal cause of his problems and every time he gets a short ball he felt his dignity gets stripped away
@@thejdsgames1552 every short ball he ducks or get out by it affects his dignity! and it kind of played a part of his mental health when he faced johnson
