Just to add, from 1st July 2024, if you're from the UK, you don't need to meet any specified work requirements to be approved for additional years (whereas previously you'd need to work a certain amount of days for the 2nd/3rd year) as long as you apply for your visa after 1st July for anyone starting this year :D
@@Kamventures Sorry, my original post was just a slightly bit incorrect! If it's your first year that you applied for at start of the year, you're all good to go literally tomorrow and not worry about the specific work (anybody who's first year started after 1st July 2023 won't need to do that farm work as it'll expire after the start date of the new rule) So yeah, you won't need to worry at all about getting them 88 days ☺️
@@tamasvanvonderen3315 There was a new agreement back in May 2023 specifically between Australia and the UK so I'd only be able to currently say yes, but if you search your country hopefully something may have changed since then? 🤞
I'm from the UK, never travelled before, havent been on holiday in 9 years and after turning 29 a few days ago I made the decision to finally go for it and do a working holiday in Australia! Im so apprehensive and actually went through 'Global work and travel' just for ease, thankyou so much for your videos and guides Its been really informative (taking lots of notes) I'm heading there in October! So excited!!! I wish I did it years ago!
@@joshwalshoakesy583 Difficult to say until I'm over there of course but everything (so far) has been good! No complaints. Had the call a week or so ago from the Arrival concierge and she's been really helpful with answering questions and how things will work once I'm over there in the first week, they essentially hook you up with a job before you arrive and deal with setting up your bank account, tax numbers ect, all the important bits. They also will help with making sure you arrive with a group of others travelling so you aren't alone and they organise additional trips you maybe interested. I'm doing my own job hunting aswell because I'm trying to look for something more niche. I'm glad I didn't take their travel insurance, it was a bit on the pricey side so I recommend doing your research on that. It's very hand-holding so far which is what I needed in all honesty! I'll happily update you on this closer to the time but it's free to call them and talk about it before you even set anything in stone! So if you have any questions, definitely contact them! ☺
I'm currently researching about the JENZA working holiday package to Australia. I'll be finishing college this year and Im still not sure if i will do it, but seeing your videos is definitely convincing me!
Thank you so much for this video! I found it very useful and I feel even more motivated to go to Australia than I was before (and I was very excited)! First video I saw from you but it was great! Cheers!
Hai mate I'm from the Philippines do you have any idea of when will be the start of intake of WHV between Philippines and Australia? Hope you'll notice.
Solid advice mate, I just got my visa a few days ago and was planning on heading to Perth in February time and was wondering if that would be a good time to go? Also I applied for my 1st year working holiday visa with an Irish passport but I live in Northern Ireland so even if I didnt do the 88 days regional work in my first year as long as I used a UK passport for my second year it would be granted wouldn't it?
I'm considering on taking the WHV scheme, I've never been to Australia and my goal is to maximize my WHV time, get it renewed up to 3x, and hopefully make some money. I don't exactly know where to live and I'm not keen at travelling before I start working. As I will be looking for regional work to be eligible for a second WHV, do you think it's smart for me to stay in these areas first and look for work?
hey man where can i contact for more information and detail im planning to go to australia when i graduate in 4 months im 18 years old i appreciate it if you can help me thankyou
Hi mate. Just wondering I’m from England and with the whole 88 day thing being scrapped would you recommend waiting till after July the 1st to apply for my visa? I’m looking at moving over in late august/early sep. thanks Dain.
