I think we should be indebted to John Ward, because this not only shows a great transport snapshot from that period, but also cars, trucks and buildings - plus the fashions! I worked mainly driving in the old South and Western Area of Sydney, ending my driving days (mid 80’s) with the heavy steering leopards at Enfield! Great fun! Thanks for the memory jog Greg👍🏻
a walk down memory lane for me we emigrated to Newport in 71 left 76 i used to catch those buses to school and all those old holdens falcons ect is how i remember Aus.
Exceptional Video, footage but some of the background music threads , gave me a giggle, I thought for a moment I was watching Starky & Hutch! From the 70/80s, love the semi trailer bus, awesome, I wonder how may of the old DDecks found there way to Melbourne and Victoria?.?,
