Welcome back, here is Ollie's first time swimming! He was very cautious of the water but he pushed himself to try something new. He is a very funny Blue Heeler with a ton of personality clearly. I have a 7 year old chocolate heeler loves water and frizbee. I recommend a latitude 64 bite disc. They fly great and indestructable. There a disc golf company that made them specifically for frizbee dogs.

My girl will jump off the yacht with no land in sight and have a swim. She'll go to the beach and jump off the jetty and swim to shore but she won't walk out of her depth off the beach. Weird rules for life 😂

My healer absolutely loves the water. He paddles his little butt off. You guys can hold him and let him paddle and he will eventually realize he can swim.

😂 thats awesome. We have started doing that and you are right, but sometimes I hold him and then he completely stops paddling because he knows I got him lol. Its too funny, thanks for the comment!

I know mine loves the water. She will splash all the water out of her dish if I don't keep an eye on her. She seems to get into the water trough on a regular basis.

That’s funny, I deal with the same thing with the water dish. We got a small doggy pool for him and he jumps in no matter if its hot or not now😂

Cool spot. I bet you won’t be able to keep him out of the water after a couple more times. May I suggest a Kong frisbee. It doesn’t float but it will quickly pay for itself after he destroys a few of those plastic ones.

Thanks man, we are going to take him there a ton this summer. He’s a bit timid as you can see so we want him to get really comfortable with it. Also, we got him a nerf frisbee that didn’t hold up too well so we will try kong next. I appreciate the recommendation!
