Hunters and hunting is not necessary, it’s just an excuse so dickheads can go and shoot at virtually anything that moves, then they say it’s for the environment, bullshit, all handed down by their dumb parents and or dumb grandparents.

It’s only hunters in Northern Territory (northern tropical side of Aus) that have a chance of encountering crocs and it would be a serious threat for goose hunters up there in the swamps. For the rest of Aus it’s not threat, too cold for them elsewhere. Snakes are the main threat all over

You just said you hunted Roos… that’s illegal. But you clearly think it’s ok to hunt plentiful native animals sustainably for food.. in principle I agree. That’s why I hunt ducks. If there’s criminals out there who illegally shoot kangaroos and leave them.. why were you ok with hunting them? Right now there’s people in this country drink driving and putting peoples lives at risk.. does that mean you won’t drive safely?

@@AussieBushHarvest I shot kangaroos on a private property which run merino sheep, in a broad scale permaculture setting, where Eastern Grey Kangaroos are at plague level proportion and get culled in the hundreds every year. They have 'professional' shooters come every month or so to the property. All of the roo gets used, for humans and dogs a like on the property. Whether it was legal or not didn't really bother me - it was a sustainable and purposeful use of an animal of which there are too many. I'm not OK with people illegally shooting kangaroos and leaving them. Illegally shooting kangaroos and using them? That's different. I guess I'm missing the point. Why is it that every year duck hunting is in the spotlight and faces legitimate concern about being shut down for good? I'm asking earnestly. Surely there's a reason? I guess I'm saying I'm trying to find that reason. Nonetheless, I don't really have a reason to shoot ducks right now, myself. But I suppose I'm trying to determine whether I agree with it or not.

NSW has no duck season, but permits are issued to cull them if they’re impacting agriculture, especially rice farms
