From memory this model Hoover came out between 1980/84!!

Hi Dorian, Greetings from Australia. I bought one of these machines brand New in the late 70's, loved it, but left it behind (gave to my Brother and wife) in Western Australia when I moved to Sydney in the early 80's. It drove me absolutely nuts with the fact you had to wait a full 3 minutes before you could open the door. It also on occasion managed to get itself completely out of balance and would dance itself across the laundry room floor. What I did like was the amount of water it extracted from the cloths in the final spin. On buying later model Hoover front-loading machines, I was surprised at the little amount of water it used to take in. I now have an Electrolux ecoInvertor with a vapour wash cycle. Awesome Machine. hoover1224 G’day Hoover 🥰. I loved being able to use that machine. Lots of fun and worked really really well. Wish I’d had more laundry to do in it, maybe next time I’m there. I’m chuffed you enjoyed and brought back some memories. Back in Ozz next April, I have family I’m Melbs, so can’t wait to a whole month there 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Little Lis You’re absolutely not a weirdo at all! I watch the videos and I just love the ASMR sounds, my other channel Adgigoogoo just has the machines, no intro, no music, just the machine cycles from beginning to end 🤗

Your deffo not weird. My nan said when I was a baby the only way to get me asleep was when she put the washer on. A few minutes in and I'd be flat out. I do miss the mechanical timer that new machines don't have. I find the noise strangely relaxing

@@robbiecrosbie4506 I'm glad other people feel the same, when I was little I used put a cushion on the floor with a drink and a biscuit and sit in front of the washing machine and just watch it go around lol if I find my house is too quiet I'll put the washer on, we all got our little quirks in life I suppose 👍

Certainly looking out for this exact model when I return to Australian ground next year! :). God that powerful take-off into spin is unlike any other Hoover i've witnessed! I know the A3060 takes off fast but, this is something else :). Nice one Dorian! Glad you had a great time :).

A FL washer that uses water!!! Woo-hoo here in Canada there is about 1/2" water in tub when full.

This was hoovers bol model. You can tell the age of it by getting the serial number and putting it into Google. Some of the guys on AW.org know a way of working it out without Google but I can't remember lol. I lose my car in the car park often cos I'm a bit dipsy ☺

We had Dreft for babies washables, very gentle...I believe it still exists in liquid in The Colonies!!!

Oh! That’s good to know, I will take a look when I’m in Ozz next year. I really only thought Dreft was for handwashing, but when I saw this I bought 3 boxes 🤣🤣

Hoover lost me with my 3rd machine to explode months out of warranty and destruction of a $2000 AU brand new work uniform. LG great service for 15 years now love my Ariston

Stephen Hillard omg! That’s horrendous! I know people with Hoover washers that have lasted well and some others that broke after a few months, such varied levels of badly made machines. After your experience I can see why you say no more.

I love how much water it uses and watching the level rise between turns. The newer ones use an eggcup full, is it enough? You may as well watch this than telly

I used to watch the level rise in between the tumbles. Some of the new machines yes they do only use a small amount of water. The ones like my LG which have the recirculator do a good job. I do often watch the washing machine videos, especially the ones which just show the machines. That is why I created the other channel which only has the machines in action and not my jibber jabber 🤣🤣🤣

No reason to have a pop at Roger. He does very good demonstrations of current models as well as the old stuff, and there’s room for both channels here. If you don’t like him don’t watch him. I personally find him entertaining and knowledgeable, this channel similarly.
