Hey Karl, you really doing a genuine job here apart from the immigration law services, i did my best to support on the petition, FYI myself at 44 in TSS 482 supporting here since 2019 as ICT Business Analyst struggling hard to get in to residency and despite working in demanding skill, i am really felling bad and with lots of hope trying hard on all possibilities, words cant express my feeling here :( only GOD knows the pain i am undergoing. thanks for your consoling videos.

I am quite disappointed reading the comment section. This video highlights the story of a family’s struggle to stay in Australia after spending 14 years living on temporary visas. Instead of discussing this story, many of you are more concerned about your own selfish needs. You have every other video to ask Karl about your own visa queries. Have some respect and help spread awareness about this story. We have seen in the past how spreading awareness helps families in similar situations to get a positive outcome.

It’s because he uploads only 1 video per week, people wait for a week for his video and then they have to wait another week hoping the next video relates to them

Most just want quick advice it seems… but I also saw people with long comments with quite a bit of their situation details hoping to get advice that way.

I am disappointed too seeing your comments. Have some respect for others inline too. One family for 14 yrs and getting their case before media and minister is not justified . If they deserve others too right. What about hundreds not in the limelight? Did you think about them before posting such polarized comments. One good deed is good until it does not undermine 100 others. Where did you get educated..I think you need more civic science and social learning.

Thanks only to Karl Conrad and his channel for being my Guru I got it all by myself with the help of this Guru. I guess I'm among the lucky few! Thank you..

The whole migration system has let us down. These young girls don't even remember India; they're Aussies. That's why it's crucial not to permit temporary stays for migrants who can't secure permanent residency through existing pathways. Families such as this one are citizens now. That is the least the government can do after all this time. Allowing these folks to stay for over 14 years was a mistake by the government. They need to reassess and grant them citizenship. It's heartbreaking to see people like them facing this ordeal. The government and migrants like me would find it simpler if there was a maximum stay permit in the country, say, for instance, 4 years. If you couldn't secure your permanent residency within that time, you'd have to leave the country. It would make life easier for everyone and enable us to plan our futures more effectively. The problem is the government is allowing all these temporary migrants to jump from one visa to another for cheap labour in non-skilled professions.

I was born in Australia but I was brought as an illegal immigrant. My parents and my siblings stayed for over 20 years and called it our home. Is there compassion for a child in my kind of situation? I had lived in a domestic violent home and seeking for help was difficult. I decided to fly to the country my parents were from but that was a mistake. I am now stuck in a foreign country and alien in this world.

Hi Karl, Thank you for the informative video. Your work and dedication in providing us with the most recent updates are much appreciated. Is there any news about the 189 visa? I've been hearing whispers of a possible limited invitation round that is supposed to take place before Christmas, do you happen to know anything about that? Also, would you recommend applying to several states via multiple EOIs? My agent strongly advised against it, saying it could hurt my chances in the different states. I read various posts of people who did find success in their PR quests using this method.
@estellebright2579
@estellebright2579 10 месяцев назад
There are agents saying whatever so they can do less work. Managing multiple EOI seems to be a lot of work for them. As an example, my agent packed my EOI with 189 and NSW 190 together despite NSW website specifically told to tick 190 ONLY and nominate NSW ONLY to receive an invitation. And when I tried to argue, they just shrug off, pretending they didn’t know. And even charged me $300 to fill an EOI that I could do myself… I then went ahead and created my own after having a new English score, and sure enough, my correct EOI got picked and invited. That was last year.

There can be no rational justification for deporting this family which is clearly a net contributor to Australian society and has been consistently for many years. In fact Australia would be a better place if more families adopted the same approach towards working hard and producing well educated children. The problem Australia needs to solve is how to have more families with these characteristics not how to get rid of them.

Hello Karl, We watch your channel regularly and find it very informative thanks for that hence this question to you If you are on a 485 visa and have worked for the same company for two years do u have access to the TRT like someone on a 482 in the company ? In the ENS direct stream if you have been on the 485 with the same company and have all the required parameters do u have to wait for 3 years for the PR eligibility? Why is the same pathway not available to someone on a temporary graduate visa with the relevant Experience , Superior English score rand positive skill Assesment and in the target and on the medium term skill list occupation list in NSW ?

Hi Karl, I just want to mention how ridiculous the Australian government is. I have been Australian for seven years. I did my master and PhD here and worked here as research fellow and engineer. I paid my tuition fees and am paying tax. I try my best to claim as high points as can. However, this government doesn’t care it. They just treat us onshore guys as fucking idiots. Those offshore people with 80 points who have never been Australia and contributed to this community can be easily updated. As a civil engineer, I have 100 points, but never get the chance to be invited for 190. Is that fair? This year, Victoria state government invited over 70% offshore people. Those offshore guys have points 15 or 20 lower than me can be invited. I think the government is destroying the trust. If they continue doing this, I think 5 years later, fewer and fewer international students would select here! They are destroying their tertiary education industry.

Dear mr Karl, first I Thank you for giving us updates about visa processing. But as we have noticed there are some issues about how DHA picks files to procssesing. They say they give priority to medical and teaching occupations and that is happening. Secondly they say they pick files in oder older date. That is not true . We have currently seen so many non priority occupations have been granted within few months of lodgment while there is a huge visa backlog from year 2022 and even before that. Can you please explain how this is possible. Why DHA is not telling the truth about how they process the visas. I feel so neglected and really frustrated about this matter. We all have spent our time and money and energy on visa process and I think all the waiting applicatnts deserve better than this endless exhausting waiting. My visa category is 491 family sposerd stream.
