Dosa is amazing! I really love it. Potato masala dosa is delicious! The great thing about Indian food is their vegetarian food is the tastiest on Earth!
Just one thing ...why u r mixing all chutney together in everybite ....try each chutney individually in each bite ...thats how u cn taste each definition of chutney clearly...
You mixed all chutneys with Sambar . You can't find the real taste of the Chutney. Different people likes different Chutneys but Restaurant Supply all Varieties of Chutneys . They don't know the Customer taste .
Nick and Helmi it not wrong to dip in all kinds of chutney. Most of us do it all the time but if you want to know the taste of each chutney then you should dip in each chutney separately
O man so much mouth watering food on this episode. Helmi looked happy when she thought you were eating donuts today 😂👍 the idli looks so yum o my gosh rice and lentils 😍 paired with all the chutneys yum! Ooo interesting that south Indian cuisine makes a lot foods with the rice and lentil including the dosa 😯 great video guys thanks for making me hungry 😂
Well I have a bestfriend which is from Indonesia and at school when I bring my indian food she would beg to eat some btw this is my dad's yt channel =~=
Awesome episode guys! Indian is a personal favorite of ours! The more chili the better haha. Everything looked so good, my mouth is literally watering haha.
Hyderabad is Telugu* don't say Andhra.. Because you're ignoring Telangana state, Because Andhra pradesh state bifurcated.. Better call Telugus.. because by calling Andhra, you're ignore Telangana ppl. Even though Andhra means Telugus in sanskrit..
Hey Nick & Helmi!! So great to see you and love that you're doing South Indian cuisine, and awesome that your friend could join you as well. We love Indian food.. so much flavor packed in all the food they serve. Awesome that was the oldest Indian Restaurant around, and that this company has restaurants in a lot of other countries as well. The rice cakes and lentil donuts looked so good with all the chutneys and sambar!! We can imagine all the flavors were amazing! So cool that you got a kitchen tour as well.. and the dosa you got..looked so huge and crispy! Never seen a dosa that big before! Your lunch plate with the chili fritters looked really good, and so did that chicken. It looked really spicy! Love the veggie platter as well, and that bread pudding dessert looked so sweet and delicious! Great to see you guys try South Indian food for the first time!! Great video and lots of love to you guys!!
@@nickandhelmi Yes.. We love South and North Indian Food... We have done a few Indian Food Mukbangs.. They always do really well, and the food is really delicious!!
The proper way to eat dosa is to try each of the accompaniments separately. For example, you take a piece of dosa and dip it only in the sambar. The next piece of dosa you dip it only in the coconut chutney. The third only in the coriander chutney, etc. etc. The Indian guide should have guided you.
is it just me that gets uncomfortable when people dip idli or wada in multiple chutney for the same bite. Same goes for when people put rice and curry on a flat bread and eat it like a taco.
Love the kitchen tour and the sweet hair net Nick! We've tried Southern Indian food once before, but didn't find it spicy enough the first go around, definitely need to give it another shot.
Thanks guys, always love to go to kitchen for quick snap😁 we definitely need to try more south indian food too because there are just too many varieties hehe
The Australians, who are eating south indian food for the first time, can pronounce sambaar so well. Not sure why my dear north indian friends can only pronounce it as 'sumber'. 🤣 Wonderful to see people enjoying s.indian food with their fingers.
Ooohhhh yummmmm love your food 🥘 review. I would soooooo go to that restaurant. Thanks for sharing made my tummy rumbling now. Hope to see more of your delicious videos 👍👍👍👍👍🤤🤤👌👌👌
I don't understand one thing. Why is she mixing all the chutney in one go? That is wrong way of eating South Indian food. The Indian woman beside her should guide her on the proper way of eating South Indian food
Helmi thought it was donuts! I’m with Helmi! 🤣 but it’s such a mouth watering episode, this is very different to what I order at our local restaurant, I’m having a look now if they got what you got here and try it too! 😘😊🥰
South India is so overrated. Wanna se the real culture tradition mannerism samskaram humility behaviour gentleness politeness n true intellect with every aspect of life then come to Eastern India. My experiences.. Visited travelled worked lived in 22 states n 3 UT's of India that covers every south Indian states, In abroad I traveled to 5 countries but only in Asia. Your comments shows how Hollow shallow n person with a limited exposures n vision ya are. Every states of India are great n unique n full of cultural heritage. We as east indians don't claim we are the best but we are not narrow minded like you people do. Come n experience eastern parts of India n rest other parts as well. My experiences with south Indian people on an average.. " The most insecure n narrow minded self obsessed n self proclaimed great n the people who live in their own bubble "..!! Even " Sambhar " is not an invention of South India. Just for thought. From Jamshedpur (Jharkhand).
If you like ' Sambar' very much, you should try these dishes: 1. Sambar vada ( Medu vada soaked in sambar) 2. Sambar idli ( Idli soaked in Sambar and topped with ghee) You can always, ask for a cup of coconut chutney (for free) as an extra side dish. The best way to eat dosa is to 1. Break a piece 2. Soak it in sambar 3. Scoop one type of chutney per piece 4. Put this inside your mouth 🙂 Remember to eat dosa, when it is hot. Try: 1. Masala dosa ( potato side dish inside dosa) 2. Onion podi Oothappam ( thicker form of dosa, topped with Onion and spices)
@@nickandhelmi Most welcome. You should also try some evening snacks: 1. Samosa ( with tomato sauce or with coconut chutney) 2. Samosa channa If you have not tried the above, then you are in for a lovely treat and experience 🙂
We'll eat anything that is donut-shaped. haha Looking fire Nick! Behind the scenes, sweet! How cool the way they make dosa. Yum! Helmi, we would be in our own world too. Look at that beauty!
In Delhi India , there is always a long queue to get into the restaurant -Sarvana Bhavan !!! The food is just amazing. Great upload . I love it. Joined you. Hope to see you soon .Like 82
The Dosas should be eaten separately with other items like Coconut Chutney, Tomato Sauce, Potato Smash, so that you get to know the individual taste. Not mixing everything and eating. The girl who accompanied you atleast should have said this to you.
we don't eat indian food often but you spark my curiosity! lol nice headpiece nick! should wear it more 😂 The dosa looks so interesting, defs have to try it next time we are in Sydney! The kids would love it.
Wow your channel is really interesting and interesting. It's really good because your channel is good because it shares and gives good information to many people. I'm rooting for you from now on because I like to watch your video too. So let's communicate with me from now on, my friend :D!!!
Great to see you enjoyed but also made me feel hungru. Taste everything by itself then with individual dips then do whatever you want. If you are a proper food blogger then taste each element then combinations of what you like
Yup we did try individual dips (not feature in the video) then at the end we just wanted to try all of them to know how the taste like. We love the sambar though, best one👍
2:52, what is this abomination!?!!!?? lol, it was ok when she dipped it in sambar and then added the coconut chutney but to add every single one? Thats just strange, its like putting syrup/jam/mayo/ketcup/mustard/soy sauce/etc condiment available onto something you eat when eating other countries food. Imagine if someone ate sushi and just added everything available onto it, I bet japanese people would question why theyre mixing everything.
What an amazing experience going to the kitchen and filmed the process That dosa is so massive and crunchy Good way to crack it Nick 👍 The chilli fritters remind me of the jalapeno fritters from Oporto The bread pudding looks so good Helmi really enjoyed the dessert Thanks for sharing guys Have a great weekend
I wish u can try messy Paratha , vegetables korma and Rice with Andhra fish curry and nonveg pickles also shrimp pickles, chicken pickles, mango pickles, fish pickles,
South Indian Thali and I am searxhing for the rasam... South indian Thali without Rasam is incomplete... By the way... Naan in a south Indian Thaali!!!!! I have seen chappati or roti but not naan!!!!
Hi.friend. Have a nice 💖Monday💖 God bless all of you. Support together , Succeed together. everything with chutney is much better, thanks for sharing
I don't understand why only the plain ol'dosa is offered all the time. A Rava masala dosa with extra onion anyone? There are so many options. Utthappam with various toppings, the famous Karnataka "set" dosa. Anyway, we need to start somewhere.
I am a typical South Indian and want to tell the girl who is eating dosa idli and vada pouring sambar and chutnies one... Let me tell you one thing that is definitely not the way we eat and that's not How you get to know the Flavour of each condiment. Please take a bite of everything separately. Don't mix everthing.
Yay finally you guys try the deliciousness of South Indian dishes. I love idli and menu vada (savoury Indian donut) too! First time got introduced by my Indian colleague a few years back. Suddenly vegetarian dishes can be very delicious, hey.. What’s your favourite chutney? It’s fascinating to watch the way they cook the dosa. We have some amazing dosa restaurants as well here, never disappoint! 😊
