I really like their stuff and them . They dont just build them, they use the stuff . Very rugged, modular, very well thought out. Im suprised they havnt made a camper system to fit into the back of a jeep yet. Good vid

As a US owner of an X1 I can attest to the quality of this trailer. Owned for almost a year now. Are they expensive? I guess that's subjective to what you're willing to pay. You don't need any fancy gear to enjoy the outdoors. This trailer was definitely a want and not a need, but damn are we enjoying it! Good job Mixflip! Subscribed!

Awesome company, awesome products but here on the east coast in USA I can't justify buying one. There's really nowhere that my work schedule will allow me to go that would utilize something like this. For the same price I bought a 30ft fiberglass camper with all the luxuries of home. Hopefully one day I'll have the time to justify buying one of these !!!

I agree. Always pick the right tool for the job. These trailers were designed in Australia so places with that kind of weather is best.

I saw one jeep with a 45 degree ramp in the back that used a winch to get the bike in the jeep.

But I have an idea:( castellano) : un remolque like this, but it has like a telescope mètode the walls of outside grow for you can walk inside and stand up. The walls of shower and w. C of inside, grow too. Y tenemos una tabla metálica gruesa, guardada que utilizaremos como mesa dentro o fuera, cuyo soporte es la pared con un mecanismo de palanca tanto dentro como fuera. Taburetes correspondientes. Que quede la mesa un poco alta. O regulable. Y en el espacio de dentro restante un sofà, cuyo respaldo se pliegue hacia delante para que cuando bajen las paredes quede dentro de una mínima altura. La cocina no es un cajón transversal, al revés, es un cajón puesto paralelo a una pared del remolque, pero guardado dentro de la pared. El dormitorio es una Ikamper Skycamp encima del remolque, que tanto si las paredes suben como si no, no se toca. Si somos 4 podemos añadir otra Ikamper Skycamp en la vaca del coche. Es importante crear un calentador de aire móbil. La energía solar también para la nevera, para el agua caliente pueden ser paneles en el remolque desplegables. DE NADA!!! UN BITTER KAS??? I LOVE YOU.

Awesome gear from Patriot... the only problem is the cost... 40 grand for the X1 and no bathroom or shower... no heater for the tent, no air conditioning... I'm sure it is well built but 40 grand is just too much.

Its got a Webasto diesel powered hot water for shower. Justin says it in the interview.

nabob14 neither does mine. It would be lucky to be worth 10 grand. You couldn’t build that trailer with all top quality name brand components to that level of finish as a back yard fabricator. Yes someone could build a “budget” version but it won’t be as plush as a patriot. My second hand camp trailer cost 4 grand and its very basic & suits our needs. I did a lot of the work on it myself but I’d love to be able to afford a trailer like this. I can see that everything works and is fit for purpose with a warranty. It can go anywhere off road that you can get your 4WD vehicle into - can’t take a caravan. Yes it may not have air conditioning or heating but it’s not trying to be a plush caravan going to trailer parks. It’s an off-road camper. Good luck to Justin & this company!! Hope they sell millions of them to cashed up Americans!!

calm down already...they're outfitting Rams, Jeeps, and just another side note: while i wouldn't buy a toyota truck, they're built in TN and in my experience driving and abusing them as company trucks, pretty damn reliable rigs.

Fun fact: the Tundra & Taco plant in Texas (tmmtx), has 26 on site suppliers that supply parts for the tundra and tacoma. Making the Tundra one of the most American Trucks in Production.

Patriot Campers appears to be the gold standard in offroad trailers and if anyone's been paying attention they started the Aussie invasion we are now seeing in the overland community. If I were going to either go full time overland or just go camping on a much more regular schedule than I do now I would definitely invest into one of these trailers. Until that day though a guy can dream.

They should simply design an X1 trailer modification where you can swap out the bed of a Tacoma and slap on the X1. So much more useful than the items on the Tundra he showed.

@@geoff6532 Both pronunciations are actually correct. I'm American living in Australia now and always heard it and decided to look it up, and found that both are correct and accepted. Aluminum is American/Canadian-English and Aluminium is British/Australian/rest of world-English.

Best trailer out there for sure but really really expensive. Buy a Smitty built and revamp it totally including tires and suspension get all the best gear to equip it with, I mean the best and probably be half the price of yours. Sorry but like I said, your trailers are extremely good but price wise not there for me

I wish they would build a first gen Tundra 4x4. Thousands of us prefer first gens because of the v8 for towing and it is still small enough to fit on jeep trails . Come to First Gen Tundra's group on Facebook over 4400 members.

Fine Campers for the 'Dry / Wet seasons'...But wouldn't be practical for cold winter camping!! Pop up 'slide in' or flatbed campers are the solution for 4 season camping...'Overlanding'!!!...Something to 'consider' Patriot campers!!!
