Matthew Ledford actually no, but the Austrian school system didn't really put much effort in teaching correct pronunciation and relied more on vocabulary and correct grammar in the past. Nowadays English lessons in school feature waaay more talking and having presentations in front of an audience to prepare young pupils for the trolls comparing their accent with Schwarzenegger. :)
Dude as I am from Austria myself he is definately Austrian citizen. Why would he else do the Austrian military sniper training? People that dont have an Austrian citizenship are not even allowed to do so... Also his pronounciation and articulation of words both in english and when talking german are waaay more Austrian.
ich sag dir eins, nicht nur das Österreichische Englisch, auch in anderen Sprachen wo der Sprecher das nicht mit der Muttermilch eingesaugt hat klingt das so. Beste Beispiele sind TonFilm von Lokal-Politikern aus den 70/80ern wo z.B. die Queen zu besuch ist.

Just because austrians speak german that doesnt mean there is no austrian accent. There are many different german accents in austria, just as there are different english "accents" and a lot of misspronounciation.

I'm sure they know it Vinizenti 1. Even the Abrams uses german technology. The main gun is from Rheinmetall as well, it's the L 44 Glattrohrkanone (/smooth barrel gun) if I'm not mistaking. That's the gun the Leopard 2A4 is using. The Leo 2A5 is using the L 55 but I'm not sure about the newer versions like the 2A6 2A6M and 2A7.

War lange in der Arma Szene tätig und fange wahrscheinlich bald wieder an (hoffentlich) War immer Hauptsächlich Panzerkommandant. Meine zweite Standardrolle war AT Schütze. Aber Prinzipiell war ich immer bereit alles zu spielen und als Kommandant hatte ich immer meine Stammbesatzung. Da war der Clan glücklich drüber.

I was in Austria for a few Exercises (Edelweiß, maybe Novritsch was there too?). Even tough its still mandatory in Austria to serve in the army, and not everyone there is "happy" with his job, the guys over there are alway nice and super friendly! After the excercise was done we packed our stuff, getting ready to leave their barracks the next day. But first we drank a beer or two and shared a lot of awesome stories with the Austrian guys! ;)
Actually I´m not so shure :/ The development is quite fast, if the new Leopard will not be revolutionary, I think the future of german tanks will be dark :(
Ich denke, die werden informell "Hessen" genannt, weil das PzB 14 die Traditionspflege des k.u.k. IR 14 übernommen hat, dessen Inhaber der Großherzog von Hessen war (der entsprechende Traditionsmarsch heißt dementsprechend auch "Hessen-Marsch").
It's pretty easy shit... Almost every tank in the world have the same crew layout. and the gun is used by Both the US, Sweden and probably the British Challenger 2 in the near future. If anyone would want to know how the gun works a normal person would just go to wikipedia.... so your comment is pretty fucking stupid...
Its pretty normal. If you did you research, weaponry for tanks are shared across the globe. The only thing they should always keep secret is how their armor is made and what are the average capabilities of the in-tank systems. Like infrared rangefinder, EMP shielding, Radiation shielding, etc.

I know all of this stuff because of world of tanks blitz.... but it is really interesting :P but I never heard a leopard 2, almost a leopard 1 or IS7 etc.
