How are you liking the 506 so far I see this video is a few months old just wanted to ask, I have a ms906bt and wanted to get a battery tester to use with my scanner. I like the other higher packages they offer but I don't really need another scan tool. Let me know how you like it so far. Thanks again
I love it. The interface between it and my Ultra works well. Most importantly, its portable. Just hook it to the battery and just sit in the car and run all your test. Of note, I had to register via the app first before I could use it on the scan tool. Had to talk to Autel support to figure that out.
@@downeastoutdoors8713 So I would not break out my 506 just for a quick battery test….too cumbersome (connect VCMI to OBD2 port, connect via wide or BT… Start scan tool…In that time I can simple connect some battery leads and go for it. I’m fact I got an OTC analog tester for the simplicity. I do like the print option of the 227, granted I am unfamiliar with the unit. Sometimes simplicity is the best, especially when considering time save doing a simple task. Note I’m also not a professional mechanic. Hope that helps.
