You forgot to mention the graphic mode wich is very nice. Very handy tool. Used it for a while now , very happy with it. I preffer to use this tool than a multimeter because you dont have to change leads for power , look for grounds , sometimes its not easy to find a ground specialy when you work inside the car or at a back of it. Nice review , MANY THANKS !!!
good tool I have been using it for about 6 years. the switch and fuse fails quick but they can be replaced quickly . the first tool of its kind with an oscilloscope is good for quick checks .
you will like the tool . I was surprised that I never noticed that you didn't have one . My power probe is turning 20 years old this year and it's still going . Not all those functions but I only need the positive and negative .
This appears to be a re-badged Power Probe. Great tool but you do need a good understanding if wiring diagrams. Very easy to cause serious damage if you go around putting 12volts into a wire by mistake.
very good tool, being using it for 2 years now, but it has one big flow, the negative wire is not protected, so if you give direct +12 to negative it will destroy tool, i accedently have done this two times, guarantee replaced it, now i am not using - wire anymore :)
This is not a toy when finding the wiring to fit toe bars makes it easy to fine ac circuit / p.w.m. ie stop light / back light combined on same wire. You will love this tool
What happens if you put power on to the ground side of component on the car. will it short the circuit and blow the fuse in the car ? or will it short it self with the rest button
@@kamrankp85 Depends on the ground you put power to as some grounds are controller grounds and not many grounds have fuses , i tend to only trip the probe if i overload it ( testing heater fan ) but if it is a real ground (chassis ground ) probe will trip
I use the Sealey version the pp100 It has a single channel scope as well as the other functions. only ever used the scope once though as I have an 8 channel one that I use with laptop
Hello my friend, thanks for many video i have a mercedes 202.020 i have a dtc B1482-000 on the front SAM when ignition is on the fan is on and doesn't stop so if you have any idea help thanks
Hi ,I have a problem with the Citroen C4 Picasso 2007 automatic gearbox does not select any speed the codes are p1724, p1732, p0868 I was at 6 mechanics and no one knows what it has
You can check on Autel website... But I believe that the difference is just the tablet... on the Elite is a slimmer and faster tablet...the VCI is the same... Thank you for watching!

Each tool has its own purpose... You can't just say buy a scope and not this, the scope will not do what this does, and vice versa... Just my opinion... Ideally, you build up your tool collection... Yes, this would not be one of my first tools, but would consider it at some point.... Thank you for watching and for your comment!
I think that PS100 is already discontinued product. Not sure for how long will be available. It is a cheaper copy of Power Probe with less functions I think.
In my opinion its nothing but toy. 80+ euro price for what? For testing fuses is good enoug just probe lamp ist about 2-3 euro price and multimeter for 20euro. So for 25euro people have better tool of that. Ist show "AC" where on cars have AC to see sinusoid? Like i sad its a expensive toy and nothing more Best regards
Agree that to test fuses this is a waste of money... But, if you really work on electric systems on cars, you would give the real value of something like this... Don't take me wrong, you can survive without it, but makes you life much easier in a variety of different situations... Is like everything in life... Thank you for watching!
Useless, if you have a poor contact you still see the voltage is right and pass away, if you use one with ordinarily bulb 12V 5W you see poor contact straight away.
I think you missed the idea of this tool... Yes, when loading a circuit is always better to use some actual load... a test light, or a bulb... Thank you for watching!
@@MrFluorescentify A multimeter does do do what this does... at least not everything... If you work on car electrics, you know how useful this can be... Can you live without it? Of course you can... Makes your life easier? Absolutely! Each tool has its own purpose... Deemed it as useless, I just think is quite of an unfair judgement... that's all.
