i have had bacala many times . but never this way . i have always had it the italian way . this is very different .we do not boil it. we soak it in clean cold water 4 2-3 days changing the water often . it will be soft this way also n very sweet . then sometimes we put it into yeast rolls n bake or use it in a main dish with a light tomato sauce n bake it. there r several italian dishes we use this in . but this looks good . ty 4 sharing. have a great night n sweet dreams , hugs

Actually we boiled it a lot longer. If you don’t boil off the salt, it will be extremely salty.

I'm sure I'd love those. Bacala fish is delicious in any form. The kind we used was salted Cod, but it looked just the same as yours. Do you eat those as a snack or as part of a main dish? I have never seen them.

Cooking with Tovia Gulp! I guess if I used Lobster instead of the salty fish? I wouldn't boil the lobster for 40 minutes YIKES it'll be tough as HELL LOL! I'LL have to revise somethings? think outside the box some? However your Recepe looks Good Thx!!!
