I think everyone was truly moved by the events in New Zealand last year. If no one else's message convinced anyone to support CMC in their vision of offering wholistic, balanced Islam, this one definitely should. New Zealand we love you. Carry On.

Assalamu alaykum, very moving. My heart goes to all the families who lost their loved ones in this tragic incident. May Allah grant them Sabr and grant those who died Aala aljinnan. These incidents make us stronger and closer as a muslim ummah. I am so grateful that we have scholars, like Abdul Hakim Murad, who are taking action and tackling the issues of hate towards muslims in the Western World. What we are dealing with is in not new. If we look at the history of Al-Andalus for example, we can see how muslims were persecuted and killed throughout history. Al-hamdoulillah, we strongly believe that with every difficulty, there is ease. Because of those haters, the whole globe now hears and learns about islam. The prophet SAW said, " بدأ الإسلام غريباً وسيعود غريباً كما بدأ، فطوبى للغرباء". Meaning, "Islam initiated as something strange, and it would revert to its (old position) of being strange. so good tidings for the stranger." Many of those who previoulsy hated islam, are now activist muslims who work for the Daa'wah. MashaAllah, isn't this a miracle? May Allah grant us Ashahadah, ya rab. Wa baraka Allahu feekum, brother, for all the work to support the muslim community in Christchrch. May Allah make it easy for you.
