I love how marks is so open and willing to try others traditional clothes, food , cultural, u r simply amazing and humble, if only human like that we would live in peace , the best food vloger
I always think this Mohamad, so true, love how he is so open to new cultures and willing to learn and not focus on negativity. He's just a positive person! I wish the world treated each other like Mark does!
There a LOT of people in the world, especially in the west, who are that open. The only limitation is money. Besides, a LOT of people do real work, while raising and providing for a family. Their priorities and hence their limitations are different.
It shows how friendly Mark is from his getting into any culture and showing and giving respect to that culture thoroughly... God bless you both Mark and Ying.. Love u micah! ❤️
I just got back from Dubai and checked out a number of places from Mark's Dubai videos including the Cultural Center and Al Ustad Kebab. Amazing top to bottom.
Marc you are so obviously blessed to be a blessing. I watched you often during early lockdown to lift my spirits since i have had to be alone most of the time and was missing my kids and grandkids. It was such a shock at first, i needed to see your happy smiling face to give me some sense of joy...but I'm in good shape now. God is good!! Thanks for being there.
Hello Mark, Ying and of course Micah he really did enjoy the bird show ,LOLOL ! Respect that. My GF uses her hands as well. Me however not in a million years. Gotta go with the spoon. But I love the fact that he respects the cultures and does it their way
I was lucky enough to visit Dubai and Abu Dhabi back in 1990. They weren't nearly as commercially developed as they are today. I'm sure the skyline wouldn't be recognizable to me anymore. The people were extremely friendly and the food was amazing. I had multiple people that were essentially complete strangers invite me to their homes for lunch and/or dinner. They were all very hospitable. Some day I would love to come back and visit to see how much the country has grown and prospered. I'm so glad that visitdubai.com set you up with this trip. That was very generous of them. Thank you Mark and Ying for sharing your experiences during your travels. I look forward to many more of your videos from around the globe. Stay safe.
Very cool, thank you for sharing. This might be the city in the world that changed the most drastically in the last 20 years. Those were incredible memories you have!
Thank you truly Mark for responding. I love the UAE. Honestly, the people and food were incredible. I hope to get another chance to come back again. I was lucky when I was younger to travel the world, most of it was pleasant, others were in times of conflict, which my job at the time made my travels less pleasant. Regardless, thank you for sharing your experiences.
Trystian Sky they were nice and friendly because you are from he West. If you ask Asians( Indians, Pakistanis, Malaysians, etc) and Africans they will tell you the Middle East people are the worst because of how they are treated. Your experience depends on where you are from.
I've heard and read reports of the mistreatment of Asian and African workers there and other neighboring countries. I was hoping most of it was untrue, but it seems the more I read, the more accurate those reports are.
I was born and raised in Muscat, Oman and we constantly visited Dubai and Abu Dhabi while growing up. I can definitely relate to your experiences with the heat in the place. You do look tired in this video but thank you for bringing memories back of the most wonderful people and place in the world to me.
I love and respect Mark Wien and like his Channel --- he is very respectful for all country, culture, and food wherever he goes and these things make him and his channel different from other channels.
Mark, I have really enjoy your food tours and travels to so many different countries. You inspire me and others to visit such amazing places to experience these wonderful foods and cultures. Keep up the great work that you do my friend.
Love today's video as I always said no one can better show us the food and culture of any country like you do Mark ... Ying and Micah looks great Masha Allah and i feel so happy to see Micah enjoying everything Bless you and your family .. Please try to visit Pakistan I know what people think of Pakistan but trust its not really like that .. Prayers and blessings ❤❤❤
mehboob gani off course he is a sensible man and I'm really hurt by your comment you don't know me how could u portrait my image I just ask him to visit Pakistan it is not necessary that he sure gonna meet me .. Its really sad that we people are so judgmental seriously ... I know my intentions I don't need to prove it to anyone
Huge respect to all the migrant workers in the UAE. Not only do they enrich the country with their culture but are also an indispensable part of the economy.
Thank you Mark. I am from Uzbekistan and like your videos particularly one about my hometown. Thumbs up as always and we're waiting for new videos. Thanks again.
one thing that brings all people together in the world is food... your vlogs help bring much needed cultural understanding and humanizes other nationalities that normally would not interact. you and food ranger should meet up someday for a big feast ❤️ great stuff and keep em coming! it is awesome having your wife and son along as well!
Oh WOW This is one of my favorite of your many amazing VLOGS. Thank you so much for sharing this incredible and fun Dubai experience. 👍👍 Micah is beginning to enjoy these wonderful experiences as well now! How cool!
Im astonished by the fact that he finishes a full plate of food and I think to myself that «that must have filled him up pretty well»... and then he goes for second round
Mark, First comment, but a long time fan! I have a friend who is a pilot over there and your video has made me appreciate why he loves it so much! A far cry from NY, although the skyscrapers sure make up for it! Thanks for the great content and super quality entertainment! I hope your son takes his passport to show & Tell at school in few years! WOW! :) Rich
Or to the nearest Middle Eastern restaurant....Just be sure it is not a student run establishment ( they tend to cut corners and make do - often leaving authenticity and hospitality behind). Go to a professional place with an Arabic chef. An Arabic chef's first concern is not simply to make money, but to show the old world hospitality as it once was ( for thousands of years and up to about 50 years ago).
YAAAAAS WELCOME IN MY HOME TOWN DUBAI!! I HOPE YOU HAVE ENJOYED UR TOUR AND THE 🥘 FOOD.. I HOPE YOU HAVE VISITED OTHER INTERESTING PLACES AND TRIED DIFFERENT LOCAL DISHES!! Thanks for being here and showing Dubai in a such unique and humble way!!
Love your videos and enjoy the fact you’re always on the move observing cultural diverse foods, Being originally from Jamaica I was drawn to your videos about Jamaican food, then saw the awesome food of the Middle East countries such as Dubai and Turkey. Thanks for showing the spectrum of food out there and highlighting them😃🙌🏼👍🏼
Wish we had these vlogs before I visited Dubai last year. The food looked so noooice and this whole trip looked amazing . Hope you are well Mark. Great Vlog 👍👍 P. S. I would have taken like 10 containers away lol haha
Very outstanding video of an important cultural and economic power across the Middle East. Thank you for presenting the best experiences of Dubai. It’s an amazing society.
Waiting for Mark Wiens to visit Pakistan in near future and it would be an honor for me to host you in Capital city Islamabad, Pakistan. We would Love to have you here in Pakistan and hopefully you'll Love the hospitality more than anywhere in the world Insha'ALLAH.

My friend who works there tells me that you never refuse Arabic coffee, especially when it is poured for you, as it is a sign of hospitality and friendship. Stuffed dates are usually offered too. xx
Hi Mark and Ying hope you are having a super day. I think it is very special how you look up to your parents and their beliefs. A lot of people don't think about their parents and families anymore. I have 4 men who does what you do. 1st Mark Weins 2nd Tim Lee 3rd Joel Bruner. 4th Strictly Dumpling these 4 men are wonderful in what they do in their own way. Mark you are on top there always with Ying, their son and family. Just one small thing please don't get upset with me. I don't think 🤔you realize this. When you take an extra large bite of food you kind of talk with your mouth full. This is the only thing I see you do wrong. Hugs prayers and love coming to you and your 👪.
Everything there is so beautiful. You really know how to show food. The bird show was wonderful. All places you visited were very fancy; at one point you actually ate with a spoon and a knife.
