Ingredients
Banana : 1kg
Sabudana : 250g
Jaggery : 1kg
Coconut : 2nos
Cow milk : 1/2lr
Ghee
Cashew
Raisins
Cumin powder : 2 tea spoon
Dry ginger powder : 2 tea spoon
Cardamon : 10 nos
Methods
Take a bowl add cleaned sabudan and water
Drain and set a side,
Take a pan add cleaned sabudan and water ,boil them well.
Take a pan add jaggery pieces and water boil them well.
Take a bowl add grated coconut and water squeeze them well.
Drain thick coconut milk and set aside.
Again add squeezed coconut and water into a pan .
Mix them well and drain thin coconut milk and set aside.
Them removed the cooked sabudan from the heat and set aside.
Peeled the banana and chopped into small cubes ,set aside.
Take a heavy bottom pan add chopped banana and water
Cook them well.
Then chop coconut pieces into small pieces and set aside.
Then smash the cooked banana with spatula
Add drained jaggery water, mix and boil them well.
Heat oil in pan add ghee .
Then add coconut pieces and saute and fry them well.
Add cashewnut and saute them well.
Now add some raisins saute and fry them well.
Remove from fire and set aside.
Then pour thin coconut milk
Add cooked sabudan and mix them well. into the payasam pan and mix them well.
Add milk and combine them well.
Add ghee and mix them well.
Again add fried coconut pieces,cashewnut and raisins ,saute them well.
Add cumin powder and ginger powder mix them well.
Pour thick coconut milk and mix them well.
Crush the cardamom and set aside.
Then add cardamom powder to the pan and mix well.
Cook for few minutes
Remove from fire and set aside.
Serve the tasty banana payasam
