Daalcha , aka Daal gosht is a popular meat and lentil dish. It attains pinnacle of taste and popularity in western city of India, Solapur. We Solapuris not only love DK (daalcha khana) , we live it when it comes to functions and communal meals. This is the first ever full video of a typical DK preparation by a Solapur chef, aka Ustad. There exists many variations of DK preparation even within in Solapur, but this an honest attempt to put on record the most typical style of DK making , which is mostly used in Solapur.
