I suggest that after leaving Jogja, you can go on holiday to East Java, where there are many beautiful places such as the Tumpak Sewu waterfall in Lumajang, Mount Bromo, Ijen Crater, Baluran National Park and many others. I hope you guys will like it. enjoy your trip
I first lived in Java for a year in 1971. Most recently I lived in Jakarta for seven years until the pandemic forced me to leave. I didn’t want to leave, for I loved living in Java. Yes, be careful. You probably will fall in love with Java, like I did.
Have been to Indonesia many times & is one of my favourites. In the beginning staying at resorts & hotels thinking what an Indonesian experience it was, then realising it actually wasn't. The real thing is far removed from what they're selling, & much more fulfilling when simplified & localised at a grassroots level..the best experience of any country I've visited.

Watching your video, I remember my childhood, living in the village in a house belonging to a distant relative, eating food cooked on a wood stove, vegetables picked from the backyard, fried chicken prepared from chickens kept in the backyard. playing in the river, eating fruit from climbing trees, grandmothers who were very friendly like my own grandmother. I can never forget the village atmosphere even when I am over 40. It feels like a simple but very enjoyable life

Beatiful & dangerous at the same time : Indonesia. We live on ring of fire, the land of 150 active vulcano. 5 time earthquake per day, from lower to higher scale. But we blessed with vulcanic ash fertille land. Everythink can grow on our land, even just rock and stick. 😊

Java is amazing island. Next you should go explore central java, It has amazing range of mountains. You can start from Sukomakmur Village & Nepal Van Java ( KaliAngkrik) in Magelang and then go to Dieng Plateau in Wonosobo.

Thx so much for this video, its reminds me alot of my childhood when i was in my grandma kitchen in Jogja, 1 was born and raised in Jogja under that Mount Merapi , so almost everyday everynignht we saw that orange thing coming down from the top of Merapi Mount, try visit Kopi Klotok in Pakem, the viral traditional cafe in Jogja, and that cafe area is my neighborhood, even the President of Indonesia hang out in Kopi Klotok Cafe, Almost forgot, my grandma died in 109 + years old, and one thing i remembered she ate alot of vegetables from our garden, anyway i lived in Semarang city now, have fun guysss !!
