Thanks, but I've seen some really nice replicas with the same details you mentioned. I think I would purchase them first, because no one is going to be looking in my purse like that - for real!
Exactly who is gonna pick up your purse and look in your bag lol And I kwn Authentic nobody looks at my bag with a telescope they compliments or stare slight envious
you're naive with louis vuitton, the older ones does not have the leather tag! the date code is pressed on the material...goodness newbies! don't judge do your homework!
Ppl get their first Louis Vuitton and all of a sudden there an expert on authenticating😂 i’ve been purchasing since I was 11 years old and I’ve had the opportunity to look at some really fantastic fakes… fakes that cost from $500-$2000+ and believe me they’re perfect.
THE COMMENT REGARDING THE HANDLE CREASING IS NOT NECESSARILY TRUE. LADIES HAVE RETURNED THE ARTSY FROM AN ACTUAL STORE BECAUSE OF CREASING, BAD STITCHING AND ALL SORTS OF QUALITY CONTROL ISSUES. ESPECIALLY WITH THE MADE IN USA BAGS. IT IS UNFORTUNATE BUT A FACT.
I wish I would have known this! I purchased this bag from the LV store in SoCal about 5 years ago. I noticed today in reviewing RU-vid videos that my bag is a "made in USA" bag. And I feel like the bag is not lasting the way it should. It's a frickin' louie that cost nearly 2 grand! The canvas at the bags mouth (above the stitching) is beginning to rip. I read somewhere that these style open mouth bags to that because of the folds. Also the lining in the inside next to the zipper is ripped. I'm not happy. I mean I use this bag nearly every day in the fall and winter. And it is 5 years old. I expected this to last decades. I don't see that happening. I don't know. I just purchased the sac plat (pre-owned). Hopefully that lasts better. I have to admit I'm disappointed.
Odd... my wife bought this Artsy MM from the store a year a half ago, and the small lock device has the coil in it. It is made in France. So... your review about the small coil vs. solid stud is probably incorrect. Maybe it depends on where the bag was made--US vs. France, since this bag is made in US and in France.
***** It's obvious that people are going overboard with their analysis on what is real and what isn't. With the same kind of logic, I can say that my Dell flatscreen is fake because one of the i/o plugs are different shade than the one at Walmart. Or that my NorthFace jacket is fake because it doesn't have the logo on the back. I sure hope Ms. Rocha doesn't work for compliance at some company... :)
Veronica, my artsy does not have a date code. Is that typical? I have turned the bag inside out and have not found anything. I also used a magnifying glass and did not find a date code. Do you have any information on bags that do not have the date code. Thank you
+gwmrhickok Couldn't find my date code either and Lv site told me it was hidden behind stitching . Should be authentic if purchased from the website or an L v store . Mine was purchased its first year release so maybe they changed the location.
Depending on where the date code tag is in the handbag if it’s used a lot it can appear less viable because of wear and age. Some Vintage LV pieces do not have date code tags
Louis Vuitton is one of the most replicated handbags on the market today the superfakes are almost undetectable to someone who might not have ever owned a real LV before to compare it to. Many superfakes are made with the same materials, real leather and very good craftsmanship. The only way that you can truly be sure that you’re getting authentic items is to purchase it from a authorized retailer or have the item authenticated if you’re buying it preowned. Even skilled authenticators have been fooled with Superfakes. Most of the popular monogram Louis Vuitton handbags are constructed with Coated Canvas very little of the bag is actual leather which is really not that expensive of a material to begin with, it’s become a very easy pattern to replicate well. Avoid preowned unless you’re allowed to return the item if it’s determined to be a fake, it happens a lot. If the price is too good to be true 99% of the time it’s fake.
