Today we're going to review OAuth concepts, terminology, and use cases as they relate to DocuSign APIs. As a deep dive, to further demonstrate these concepts, we'll be assembling an OAuth access token generator using Node.js. If you have participated in our past hackathons, you may be aware of the necessity for generating access tokens, a prerequisite to making DocuSign API calls.
This token generator will also retrieve your API account ID. The presentation will go into what that means, and most importantly, why it matters. During this session, we'll also explore how access tokens, API account IDs and Envelope IDs are used within our API products. If you're interested in or have plans to begin developing an application powered by the DocuSign APIs, you won't want to miss this session!
