Nance doesn't just know stuff. He's now over in Ukraine fighting to protect democracy. Hopefully he survives, and can come back and run for office. I'm a bit pissed that the Democrats haven't groomed him to assume a leadership position in the party/country.

What you say is true, but who listens to truth? The truth is that the presidency of the most powerful nation in the world is for sale to the highest bidder, and most coldhearted liars, that is able to make people believe they are in fact someone good. It's the reason why Americans believe things like that it is good with the screwed justice system, the lack of universal healthcare, propaganda such as the "trickle down economy", that is just as much nonsense as the domino-theory. It's rare to see someone that understand the truth though, and comforting to know that there are some that truly care.

Take me, for example - I have dealt with severe ADD since before anyone even knew what it was. But one of the diagnostic characteristics of this ailment tends to be high IQ and creativity. ADD sufferers (untreated) tend to vastly underperform in life compared to their abilities. I was certainly in that group before I found a book called "So You Mean I'm Not Stupid, Lazy, or Crazy?" - all about ADD - of which I had never heard at the time. When I read it, it was as if the author knew me personally, and I decided to find a specialist and get tested. The first, among many tests he gave me was an IQ test - result - 148. It explained a lot to me - because whenever, I had a course, even in college that interested me, or an instructor who could hold my interest, I ALWAYS got perfect grades - but when that was not the case I was an average to poor student in many ways. And yet, I absorbed and understood the material even then. When I took the SATs, my WORST performance was raking in the 97th percentile in math - everything else was 99th percentile. And with all that going for me, I failed a hell of a lot compared to what I should have been able to accomplish, for years until I learned about this and got treated. But mental illness can make a person SEEM very stupid. I did, and once in a while still do things that make no sense - even to me. The difference between a Trump and me is that I think his most profound mental problem is severe clinical narcissism - such a person could never admit to themselves or anyone else that there is something wrong with them and get the help they need as I did.
