Good morning. My wife and got a few plants for around the yard yesterday. Going to get them in the ground today. I got a grape plant, and I am really excited for that.

I am loading blasting sand into a blaster at my work while i am listening.

As a matter of fact, we are doing something "spring-y" today. We're setting up the trampoline in the backyard for the kids! (We always pack it up for the winter). We may not see our eleven-year-old again till November. 😅 Between the swing set and the trampoline, he practically lives out there in the summer.

It was ME! I joined the mug club! But I only just got the package bc my husband thought the box it came in was the same box as the monthly laundry detergent subscription box, and put it in the laundry! lol.

Good Morning Clare! Thank You for a great share to wake up to! As I drink my cold coffee from last night in my bubba 32oz old mug. But in bed still. I need to clean the deck off in spring cleaning and the morning might have been more productive there. But yeah it's cold out there. Rainy. Maybe not best today but the rain will pass. Congratz on your 171! Whenever it occurred and this old bubba is getting old and leads at times if I don't put the lid on right. I need to look at your merch and maybe on a better financial moment buy. Any stainless steel 64oz? I'll look :) I once had a 64oz Green Aladdin but it got busted when we were getting firewood when i left it on the box of a truck pulling out to the house to bust it. Thanks for everything! Sorry for bring so long typeded. Lol. Just my mind in response. 😊

I've got 2 doctor appointments this week and those I am not particularly looking forward to.

Um ...a few days ago I was in the zone and a girl said "hey"...and it was so clear and powerful that i said "what?". it happened twice. i told her i could hear her but i received nothing more. that night i had a vision that Sara and Amadeus merged temporarily. to exchange experience. that was the only exciting thing. I drink mugwort tea...but its not exciting so I oftentimes mix it with coffee.

Balance is good! So glad for you! Striving for that myself. This week was pretty productive in our corner and much more meltdown free. Ahh. The feeling of being able to breathe...Let's see...what else? Ooh, getting ready for the Ren Faire this Saturday! My husband actually said he would love to go with me and dress up. Have not done this for a least 20 years. Definitely in a previous life. So excited to see the rebirth of it!! Yes to the warmer weather. Hoping for it Saturday for sure. Planning on a couple of pots of flowers, maybe elephant ears for my elephant loving 11 year old, but cannot keep up with a whole garden. Too much for me. Sounds like good plans on your end. I planted a few seeds today, low key: tomatoes, spinach, lettuce & wildflowers yesterday. My neighbour gave me her greenhouse, so I'm trying that out. It's also pretty chilly here too

The church read was HILARIOUS!!!! Congrats on a nice balanced week! My week was too busy with work…way way way too busy…I felt very unbalanced. A friend’s mom died after a long bout of Alzheimer’s. Went to her graveside service and then lunch afterwards. I’m glad I went but felt super dysregulated and got a nasty mid-size migraine. Then my BFF had a dinner party to celebrate her sisters. Went to that which, again, was good but tired me out in a big way. So I’ve been trying to be ok with needing more sleep to recover from it all. Oh, and on top of all this, made a major transition coming home after 3 months away. No wonder I’ve been exhausted and on the edge of shutdown all week! Writing that all out just made me realize how much muchness has been happening and to try to give myself some grace for coping as best I can. So thanks for this week’s Porch Coffee…it made me come to grips with my over-revved week. Still tired but no longer questioning what is wrong! 😂

Hey Claire and everyone! Nice to see you chill and enjoy a slow week, absolutely nothing wrong with that! For us in Perth we are waiting for Autumn but it's still really hot every day which is nice, but also a little worrying! I also did my ADHD and ASD pre-assessment stuff, which felt like a giant list of my shortcomings and failures so not fun 😅 can't wait for it to be over so I can try and have a more positive attitude to the whole thing! Other than that, life is going ok 😊 Have a good week all! 🌻🧶💖

This weekend I went for my first check up after eye surgery. It was corrective, but I was in the range of legal blindness before so it’s a bit more extensive than a normal one. I was trying not to freak out because I still haven’t been able to see. I was trying to prepare myself to hear it didn’t work. But the doctor said it was still too early to tell. The blurry and the haze are apparently signs of still healing rather than surgical failure 😅 It was good news but the stress sent me into a meltdown afterwards. And then I had to go grocery shopping mid-meltdown (rock and a hard place for that decision). Spent Sunday recovering.

I had a pretty good weekend. I took Alice to the park and met up with a new friend. One part of the conversation stung a little bit, though. I mentioned my son is turning 7 in a few weeks and how his birthdays are always a little emotional for me. He is nonspeaking, so he can't tell me if he wants a party, what kind of cake, or what he wants for gifts. I know speech isn't the only valid form of communication, but it's hard. I'll do my best and pick his favorites. Anyways, my friend asked me if I thought he'd ever speak. I don't know. Apraxia of speech is a mystery to me and not many autistics talk about it. I know it's possible, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Sorry for the long comment. Hope you have a great week, Claire and friends! 💞

Hey Claire! I've just got back home from cat sitting for a week at a friend's place in Bristol. I rent so I can't really have any pets so it was lovely to have a friendly little creature following me around all week. Bristol is a really cool little city, I'm planning on moving their in the autumn... which is quite a scary prospect for me as organising a house move is intense.........

Good Morning! This week has been an off week for me, I've been finding it very difficult to find the energy/ focus to do the things I'm supposed to be doing. On the bright side, the weather has allowed us to get out in the garden, which is slowly coming back to life. I love watching all of the plants wake up and the insects come back; I saw my first lady beetle of the season yesterday. 🙂 I also started exercising a little more consistently this past week - we have a rowing machine in our garage, and I've been trying to use it a little bit everyday in hopes it will help me find a bit more energy & focus. That's awesome that Orion reached 150k! I reached 100 subscribers on my little RU-vid channel and was probably just as thrilled as Orion, or perhaps even more, lol. 😂

I was actually wondering if you were doing a garden this year. I don’t blame you for not; it looks like a lot of hard work. I hope you have another good week! Your hair looks great, btw. 😉

Good morning Claire, thank you for keeping me company while washing up. I too have been trying to accomplish things at home, I started on the biggest Doom pile, I've been avoiding it, time to getvjt gone now and I've made a start. I found out on Ms Cs live that she has posted my somebunny Zebra out so I have something to look out for in the mail. It was my birthday on the same day as Jenn's Channelversary and bless her she sang me happy birthday which was very sweet of her, I wasn't expecting that 😂. I have to pop to the doctors today to get paperwork for a blood test this week which is pretty dull, and I told my mum I'm not going to bother with the gardening this year because I'm concentrating on the house and the kids at the moment and her reply was well surely you can do some of it .... nope not really .... but she doesn't get it. Oh and the kids have gone back to school this morning.... the youngest over slept and it was a windy chilly walk to school, and the girls both riddled with worries and anxiety needed a hug before facing the mass of people again.... felt bad for them they were both very anxious. So I decided I'm going to make them some fresh bread and some brownies for when the come home. Have a great week, speak soon.😊

Spring items accomplished included finishing my taxes, tilling the vegetable garden and sowing the spring veggies. Transplanted my asparagus and strawberries to more appropriate spots. Mowed and raked a section of the yard. Photographed a fox who visited (napped in) my garden. Then I rested, because I can no longer work the way I did in my younger days.

I had a great week! Hit my 20 lbs weight loss milestone and started eating a vegan diet for the health benefits! It's all part of my transformation since figuring out my authentic self. "new" brain, new me. I now have the bittersweet issue of having to buy a wardrobe that fits 😸 Got my Full Spectrum shirt tho!! Have a great week!! Porch coffee for life!

Just finished having a week off work for my wife's brithday - oh another birthday announcement! Every year we have a spring holiday and my Mum-in-Law visits us for a few days too. We love seeing her

Darning socks while watching. Congratulations on the podcast! I’ve really been enjoying them. Also slowing down, prioritizing what’s really important , and focusing on health all sounds great. It sounds like the people reading announcements at your church needed to drink some coffee first! :) They’ve never sounded that asleep at any of my churches that I can recall, but I still thought your impression was funny.

Same on the gardening for me this year. I have had tomatoes in a seed starting tray since January 1st. 😅 Trying to work my way out of burnout and have so much to catch up on. I can try again in the fall. Filming lots of b-roll as I work on cleaning up around the property for some videos im planning on making.

I am so glad you had a good week , Claire! I more often than not watch people's videos a day or week later and at night. But porch coffee I prioritize for Monday night.😊 For here, good week. One big situation that I was worried about for a while had a resolution this week. I was beyond relieved.

Hi Clare, I'm back! returned from hospital yesterday (day 10). CW - medical talk inc descriptions. . . . . . what a mixed bag that was. So much happened I'll try & be breif. For the positive - the end result of the surgery has been excellent. All the tumour was excised and nothing new found. I didn't become jaundiced just some low electrolyte issues. No post op issues with the wound which is healing well. Overall pain levels have been much lower than anticipated allowing me to move about more & look after myself far better than I thought I would. The other stuff. The incision was much larger than had been discussed. 16.5inches (42cm) from the middle of my rt side across my upper abdomen to nearly mid left side, roughly following the lower line of my rib cage k/a a 'rooftop incision'. I suffered a rare complication during surgery. Hepatic portal hypertension. My intestines went into spasm greatly increasing the blood pressure in the hepatic portal vein entering the liver (the opposite of what is wanted). It even caused back pressure into my spleen making that bleed. In her long career She'd only had this happen once before. More liver was removed than planned, >50% of rather than the 40% planned. Other bits & bobs that roughly doubled my time in theatre to 11hrs (with 4 more in recovery room). I came too in the recovery room before the local anaesthetic was working, fortunately that was very brief - at least my memory of it is. I had one bout of 3hrs high pain in the recovery ward when they were late with a dose of painkiller. My intestines 'shut down' for 5 days which they were starting to worry about but things picked up and are getting back towards normal. As expected hospital was a sensory nightmare + dealing with Normies & all their b/s ery and having virtually no control over anything relating to what you do. There were nicer moments too so a very mixed bag, ultimately exhausting. So glad to be back home now in familiar surroundings, in control of what I do & when... and it's soooo quite & peaceful. Pain level is low and well controlled but I still tire much more quickly than usual but I've not been back 24hrs yet. Better & more sleep is going to help that out I'm sure.

It has been a busy week! I'm on catch up for everything now 🙀

What I'm doing: Very busy with software testing and a bunch of other housework. Still coming to terms with some of the things verbally mentioned after screening, but I'm kind of waiting on the formal written paperwork for confirmation... should be available in a couple of weeks.

Are you sure this isn’t a church? We congregate every Monday. We just don’t study the theory of the Woodshed. I’m living on the edge drinking tea out of a glass and smoking a pipe. I’m so far behind on RU-vid videos it’s ridiculous. I’ve been spending most of my time on Netflix, there’s nothing to comment on, normally it would be the other way around I would spend most my time here. I’ve had to accept once again that my plans will be delayed. Everything I’ve got planned will need to be done later than I had hoped. I currently don’t have the energy to do much. I’ve been growing my hair out and it’s been a sensory nightmare. I feel every hair that’s not on my head anymore as soon as it lands on my face. Some say I should be used to having hair on my face but it’s definitely not the same. I’m waiting for the warmer weather as well so I can sit outside and drink my tea. The time change was a little worse for me this year than usual. I’m usually up by 4:30 but I’ve been up by 6:30 I’m sure that will slowly get back to normal. But it’s weird because normally I see the sun rise. Have a good week Claire and Friends.

You just do what you can. As usual, I'm watching it with tea. I had to pause it in the middle though and continue a bit later (my mom called). I don't know if pausing hurts the channel. I do watch the whole video, I just sometimes have to pause it and come back to it. Congrats to everyone for their accomplishments. I wish Toronto was closer and could be a day trip. I don't think I can drive 4 hours by myself and don't have the money for hotels. At least the event IS in driving distance for me, but further than I'm comfortable going. I was productive on Friday. I finally got my passport application filled out and handed in (my deadline was the 16th... or it was a new passport and not a renewal anymore). I also called (I hate calling) the dealership and made an appointment to get the tires changed on my car (it's be next Saturday morning). I need to pick up the summer tires at my parents' house, so I'll be going over there on Friday and my mom will help me with my taxes... so I have an appointment to get that done too. I then showered and decided my hair felt too dry and brittle and had too many split ends, so after watching many youtube videos, I put it into a ponytail on the top of my head and cut off the ends. I'm not sure how it looks (from my perspective it's okay... not as short as I would have liked, but I did cut off a couple of inches, it was just way past my waist and I didn't want to cut too much... can't add hair back)... but it feels a lot better, a lot healthier.

Thank you again Claire. Porch Coffee is probably the most chilled part of my week. 😊 Maybe a discussion for a future episode (or stand-alone content) could be a possible link between ASD and ADD/ADHD? Obvs I have the diagnosis for the former but I’m considering a test for the latter…?

Yep, You were right, that all happened last week. Do You know what had been the problem with internet in the last stream? In the churches I went to nobody did anouncements in a way You are not sure if they are near dead. Nope😂. What kind of videos I wanna watch? Well, I just enjoy sharing time with You. Feels like spending time with a friend (yep, I know its a parasocial relationship, but 🤷🏽‍♀️, feels nice). You are (or appear to me) so chill, grounded, friendly, funny in a subtile way that I feel more relaxed watching it. Like good parallel play. So really just do whatever You want to, it will feel good. Wish You a wonderful week. Oh, ha, there IS a think, as I am very curious: if You like, what's the story with Your husband, how did You meet, for how long are You married, if he is an NT (I think he is?), how did and does it work, did the diagnose change something? So mainly celebrity gossip😐 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sorry, the silly ADHD made me do it again. Was not able to fight back😝😆😂. Guess I am quite relaxed after many days with enormous emotional stress and then I am getting really silly and dorky 🤪. I suppose You told everything You are comfortable with in older videos and I should watch them all. But then You have to stop making new contant, otherwise I can't catch up. It felt a little bit like stress to watch all channels videos last weeks. I was so glad to have finally found "my pack" I felt I had to. Which of cause is nonsense. It was like the "frenzy of new love" (to make it the cheesiest I am able to😆) and now I have to go on with my life in normal level again. But feeling less alone and with a new ressource of "friendship", "reassure my feelings" if those are the right words in english. I hope this is a "new normal" emotion I share with others when they found those channels like yours and found out about their autism (please tell me, other people) It feels sooo good to finally share so many similar experience and emotions with so many other people. Not to feel so different. Uhhh, back to now *hem hem*, have a good week all👋🏽

It's weird that you mention people watching porch coffee late on the ONE RARE OCCASION when I was traveling and wasn't able to watch while drinking coffee, sitting on my porch, on a Monday morning. I feel bizarrely called out in a section when you were trying to make people feel NOT called out. How weird and hilarious is that?
