This is day we go in for Braylee's Autism re-evaluation. We were on a waiting list for about 1 year. We believe a re-evaluation will be beneficial for her. She is currently diagnosed with Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, Dyspraxia, and PICA.
Since it was not a normal go to school type day. Braylee seemed to be seeking sensory experiences. #autism #weefam

I absolutely love listening to her sing, doing her own thing, her giggle and smile are infectious! She is such a beautiful little girl and you guys are doing an amazing job with her! I have a cousin that is nonverbal autistic that is 16 or 17 and my niece is autistic and she is 21. I follow you from Fathering Autism, I’m so glad I saw you guys in a video they put up from the Disney trip not long ago. Her little voice is just so beautiful!! Love and hugs from Oklahoma!

I just watched a few of your videos, and I'm so looking forward to watching more. Braylee reminds me a lot of my little girl (who just turned 4). Being able to see how kids who are similar to her behave in their own environments feels really fun and comforting.

You can smear shaving cream on the counter and you can draw or scribble with your fingers. And smear it again to re do it again.

I would rather clean up shaving cream over kinetic sand any day! I miss the days when my folks wanted to do shaving cream projects, Look up shaving cream marbling so so fun

Braylee likes kinetic sand a lot too, but for whatever reason, even with a tray... it gets EVERYWHERE. Oooh that sounds fun!! I’ve seen paint marbling but it always seemed excessive messy. Shaving cream marbling though.. 🤔

Has Braylee's ABA center closed down yet? The one I work for just moved to doing in-home therapy to avoid having all the kids in one space. Stay healthy!

Great idea using the shaving cream. Braylee is having a good time playing in it. The light table came out nice. Like the idea of using the reflective tape. It came it out bright. So much fun! We used to do this with kids I used to take care of. Another thing that's fun us to make pudding and do the same thing. They can draw in it, squish it, eat it lol.....the possibilities are endless!

We have done good things before, primarily when she was younger. They always got more difficult because they don’t dissolve with water and get so sticky 😂

The shiny tape is actual duct tape. Intended for HVAC. Good for all kinds of stuff. The stuff everybody buys to tape stuff together is duck tape. Sounds the same. VERY DIFFERENT.

Oh man. I remember at the end of every school year in elementary we got to use shaving cream on our desks and that was always the best part! Watching Braylee playing with shaving cream honestly just makes me want to do the same lmao!

I loved this vlog so much, just watching Braylee with that shaving foam and singing was lovely, you have no idea how much it cheered me up today, I'm debating whether or not I should cancel therapy, the building I go to is very busy and they have clients living there as well, my mum and dad are in their seventies and mum has a bad chest anyway so I don't want to pass anything onto them and they not being healthy enough to fight it, I'm just not sure what to do, I think I should cancel just until we can figure out exactly what's going on in the world right now, I'm actually starting to get concerned now, so me and the hubby are keeping ourselves to ourselves apart from going shopping on Saturday we're staying at home by ourselves, I've borrowed some money so I can do a big shop and get the essentials in and fill up the cupboards and the fridge freezer, just in case I can't get out again, the taxi companies are shutting down and the one bus in and out the village each day has stopped, so there goes the ability to leave the village, I really do need to learn to drive lol

we rang up to cancel and my therapy and left a message with reception, then a couple of hours later my therapist rang up to cancel the appointment, she hadn't gotten our message, she said she's cancelling as many appointments as she can and she's only seeing those clients that need the extra help, she will be phoning up next week to check to see how I am doing, but until this has all calmed down therapy is cancelled......*insert happy dance*

Hi guys our first evaluation was crazy they showed him pictures and wanted him to repeat them back I had to keep explaining he is non verbal then he had a melt down

We haven’t done shaving cream but I did that last week with clear hair gel, food coloring and glitter 😁

I have my daughter’s first re-evaluation next month. I’m kind of nervous. We’re in a new state, and their services aren’t as easy to get as our last state.

Hopefully the evaluation can help you get services! I know when we moved to Minnesota we had to re-learn how to navigate and get access to services and it’s so different state to state. Hang in there! ❤️

Shaving cream is good but we also found Mr Bubble foaming soap that is scented. More for bath/sink play but awesome!

We are hanging in there. She’s been having good days and alright days. Nothing too bad so far but not always the best. Hope you’re doing well! I’ll have to remind David and see if we can’t use a little time to record some singing.

It is difficult to explain. For us, it’s similar to when it’s too cold outside in winter and Braylee wants to go outside but doesn’t understand that it’s dangerously cold out (frostbite cold). 😂 we will all need a break at times during this! Thanks for sure

@@TheWeeFamily only bonus to this is I found a site that is doing free ABA therapy online. In Canada they cut services and funding. So to find this stuff during a crisis is amazing. It an hour and for few weeks. It not much but every little bit helps. We had major slide backwards in potty training and that's one things they touch on along with aggressive behaviour which my son has.

Omg I got my nephew that sand 1 time play that stuff WAS everywhere I threw it outside in the trash it took me 6 HRS to clean it up Hell NA 🙅🏻 ... Braylee girl your having so much fun ... Man so many places are on 🔐 DOWN witch is good it's the only way to get this under control then you have DUMMIES in Florida at the beach for spring break 🤦 watch National Guard will be there next because they think no rules apply too them CRAZY ... She loves having instruments to play around with at her leisure, perfect choice! 🙂 She’s doing alright. It’s been actually really nice because where she goes for music therapy has been streaming live on Facebook so we have watched some of those to pass time and work on things. 😃 it’s so awesome!

@@TheWeeFamily My son is 15 now so I believe the last time I bought it must have been 10 years ago. Oh, and we made the mistake once tying the bath crayons witch never really washed off. Now he wants to try bath bombs that change the water colors, are sented or have a trinket inside.
