I spoke with MMA veteran Cub Swanson about his experiences with Autism and other related disabilities as well as his goals for his future and life after fighting. Before Cub was a full time MMA fighter he worked for ‪@UnitedCerebralPalsy‬ where he worked with people that had Cerebral Palsy, Autism and Down Syndrome to name a few. Cub has a sister that has down syndrome which inspired him to work for the company. To learn more check out this interview.

The fact that Cub Swanson used to work with people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities before he became a fighter is another win! I gained a whole new respect for him after hearing that

Very true that he said every fight is a journey. Also interesting about his past experience working with children with disabilities! And I think I’ve passed by that gym in Costa Mesa a few times.
