@@MysticalLlama LOL not remotely no clue what planet U live on never met anyone in a body shop that was paid more than I was as a Mechanic! in my entire life? I do both and body n paint is defiantly more rewarding. N there's not really such a thing as work hardening. U just have to under stand metal and If U do you will agree. I have straitened thing most people would call scrap metal. zero filler and I guarantee U or anyone else would never know!!!!!!!!! want to truly learn metal watch a coach builder not this crap!

@@efrainortiz5915 Sure. for many it's about the money and the money only. They'll "befriend" you, think they've got your back, when they don't. Owners who don't question and/or put all their trust in them are ripe to be "burned" This is speaking from personal experience. Oh yes, if the insurance agent makes mention of how good they are, be on guard.
Sure, as an example. my mom was too trusting of people, especially when it came to business. Her car was hit and went to the body shop for repair. The man was more sympathetic how much insurance would pay (small business not a chain). She believed he has her back when he didn't, his concern was only his business. Making a long story short, he would not release her car until the insurance payment cleared, when she went to pick up her car, he only gave her the keys no paperwork, nothing. On further inspection, he used used parts (some bad ones at that), the hood used had dents, the trunk lid has a rusty bolt (her car was hit in the back, and hit the car in front of her), the bumper cover had red peel, and any place they welded was not rustproofed. They did a crappy job, and were not responsible if any issues arose (which they did)
*AUTO BODY TAINING SOLUTIONS I have a question: For example when a vehicle/car has been rear ended by a tractor trailer truck (hitting one side of the rear bumper) cracking the bumper / ripping off one of the tail lights aka brake lights and smashing the rear quarter panel...... QUESTION ONE (1) What are other possible issues that are likely to have occurred to the vehicle that the naked eye and non mechanics/non body shop specialists would not be aware of* *could yah list the guestimate price for each repair including the obvious repair/replacement of the bumper, tail light and rear quarter panel*
The vehicle needs to be inspected underneath for possible frame damage, possible exhaust system damage and suspension damage. These areas are difficult to assess by the nonprofessional but can be the most critical and expensive repairs. It’s impossible to give even a guesstimate on this because of so many unknowns. Can the panels be repaired or do they need replacing? Is the trunk or hatch damaged? There’s could be issues with rear body panel and trunk floor. It’s too big of a question for the scope of this analysis. I suggest have a local repair shop give you their suggestions. Thanks for your comment
Hello Sir, just wanted to ask what is the best source of information to find the body dimensions when working on a frame rail that is out of alignment ?
If you do a google search there are many sources of measuring data available. I’m not sure how many are free to access but Mitchell is one of the biggest. I’ve used Chief and Shark for years but those were a paid subscription to go along with the computerized measuring systems that I used at work. All Data is another popular one so you should find something to give you length and width dimensions. Thanks for watching
A trade school partnered with my highschool offers autobody with state of the ary equipment, i signed up for next years classes so i hope i get in. Itll give me a chance to also earn college credits along with icar certifications
