This does not work in version 1.1.2 or later
It is possible to trick Zelda Tears of the Kingdom into thinking that there is a auto build that is being created when it is not really there. This is a glitch that allows ling to climb onto a plank of wood and travel across wide open areas extremely fast!
To perform this glitch:
1. you must have the auto build ability
2. attach any item to a plank of wood or something else flat that link can climb on
3. un attach and open then open the auto build menu
4. select the two item build you just made
5. Rather than auto build, quickly press the B THEN Y button very quickly.
If done correctly you will go back to the auto build menu.
From there, select the build one more time by pressing A.
6. Now you will have the plank in front of you and you just need to get on.
7. If the plank is too high you may need to find something that is angled down to walk the plank into in order to lower the plank's height.
8. once on the plank enjoy your magic carpet ride!
