Dave I have their more recent Jag C. It's beautiful. I mean the detail is over the top. But it ran like, well, poop. After a lot of tweaking and sanding the tires I got it to run well. Although it sounds like a meat grinder. More grease, more adjustments and it's less noisy. It runs well now and the lights are a nice touch. Maybe I should do a video about it and show what I did and how well it runs now. Maybe I just got lucky.
I have one of their last slot cars. It's a BMW 3 series, wow it looks amazing but the wheels are so thin that you can't take off the tires because the wheels flex to the point of almost tearing the wheel apart.
Hey Dave send it to me all make a great runner out of it. When you get it back you won't belive it's the same car. I have the green 1/32 and it runs great. You can make a video after.
Interesting. Someone has a new 'red stripe' one of these on ebay for $66 + Argentina postage right now. In today's money then I suspect they are ones for the 911 collectors? Has anyone ever stopped to count the number of 911 shaped bodies produced over, say the last 50 years? Scalextric have three new this year and Carrera have a really attractive Proton Racing RSR silver, back and green livery of their old stead too. Factor in the Scaleautos, the NSRs and the plethora of Revoslot GT2s and there's a lot going on with these. Which one is best? Mmmmmmmmmmmm .........
