Purple rain is an iron fallout which means it reacts with iron aka brake dust. Usually they are orange dots on ur car. Whereas just the tonic is a glue and tar remover so they aren’t the same at all.
I use the citrus wash before I snow foam ( Bilt Hamber Auto Foam). It helps prevent the foam drying out too quickly. Between the two it leaves the car very close to clean before the contact wash.
Always entertaining. Keep the citrus (and glass cleaner) in your car and when the kia gets shat on by pigeons, a few sprays and a quick wipe. Job done. Paint saved! And bin the rest! Cheers
