Hey there. I want to plot a map, map is a big one i need to give a presentation so while explaining i want o move cursor to some point and as soon as i move cursor it has to zoom in. Can it be done
Very good lesson, here is my question, if you explode the enlarged block to a scale factor and explode it dimension also change to that factor , how can you keep original dimension values after exploding the enlarged block to a scale factor ? is that possible ?? thanks
1. Make a copy of your dimension style which object inside your block is using(usually it is current style, that can be ISO-25 or Standard) 2. To make a copy of dimension style > D(enter) > Click New > Start with (select which is mentioned in point 1) > Specify name that you can remember > Click Ok > Click Close 3. Go inside block editor for clipped object > fi(enter) > select filter: change 3dface option to Dimension > Click Add to list > Click apply > type command: all(enter) > (enter) to come out of select object > (make sure that all the dimensions are selected)go to properties palette pr(enter) > From misc. category > change dimension style to the copy that we made in step 2 > Close block editor > save chages 4. eXPLODE your clipped object > Dimension style D(enter) > Modify(copy that we made in step 2) > Primary Units > Scale factor > use the value that you used to scale > OK > Close 555.
