Use Disposable Grips & Tubes! Personally I like the Metal Grips & use A combination of Rinse, Soak Tubs, Ultra Sonic Cleaners & Finally an Auto Clave! It is better for the environment! An autoclave sterilises not with hot air but with saturated, pressurized steam (otherwise it would be a hot air sterilizer, which are no longer used). A professional should know that actually!

There is an insane mistake at 3:00, she says "...exposed to the incredibly hot air..." instead of the factual "hot steam , most cases nowadays in vacuum..."

I understand there is a lot wrong with this video but I’d like to point out, it does mention Medical Assistant in the title lmao. That was the clue everything will be incorrect. Take everything with a grain of salt and a shot of penicillin. 👍. I wouldn’t want to be their patient ether.

"Tools" are in your grandfathers shed...those are Surgical INSTRUMENTS! That many Instruments should be in a cassette! The Surgical Technologist in me is cringing!!! Investigate proper Envelope technique per IAHCSMM!!!

Lady you and your college should be banned for life. Everything your doing or learn is so wrong that I'm speechless. Cotton in the autoclave ??, mixing instrumentation?? Writing in the tape with a black marker?? Go back and read and reread The Surgical Instrumentation Manual By Nancy Chobin. Everything you did in this video can get your certification ( if you have one) cancel by IAHCSMM or AMMI.
