this might be a dumb question, but when modeling this and then moving it over to something like Unreal or Unity were there any performance issues? Also do you recommend a poly count range to keep within?
It depends on your projects, if you're making mobile games, you shouldn't make something high poly, but I'm not so knowledgeable to suggest a poly count range, but I think you might find something about it on the internet.
Great build man, I have a question. how'd you get the window @ 3:00 mark. Im quite new to maya and haven't really familiarized with a lot of tools. im really curious on what did you use to get those results
where's the entrance group? why no interfloor overlaps? good video though. i'd like to see the process of unwrapping/texturing and lighting/rendering this building.
hy do not you make a real sized design in mm cm or why do not you align the faces of the lower objects and the upper objects in the same axis? I am 3d max user maya i am trying to learn thanks
