But it is useless. All you can do is sell them. You can’t put them into your productions “Selling” wood is far more profitable in chip form so why would you ever use this? Fail on the modders. Need to allow it to go to production

They are cool in a way but with this DLC you need tons of wood for all your productions and if you can't unload these once they're full, then for me they are kind of useless. Great if all your doing is selling the wood, but if I'm going to screw around cutting down and gathering trees I'm not selling any, I'm using them. Lol

These containers are set up to only allow trees to be stored with a volume. No manual load option. And no unload option.

Nice! Question though, can you take the containers off in the forests so that you can load a number of them before hauling them all off? It looks like they snap into the trailer like grain headers snap onto their trailers? Can't wait to get this expansion. I think I'm more excited about this than I was for FS22 release! Now, for those who don't know, go look up how they load the containers with logs IRL! There a million ways to do it

@@sweetdaddydee1314 theres a mod were you can store your wood into using the container. And then cam distribute that wood into the sawmill. So you can use it on any map if you use the mod were it allows you to store wood from the container.

@@sweetdaddydee1314you don’t need perfectly loaded log trailers for production. Any scrap junk wood will do. Full trees, don’t matter. Plus with containers you make more money than productions. Your point is, pointless.

Nov. 12, 2022 Mr. Driver, Since you titled this video, AutoLoad logs on Console, may I rightfully assume you were allowed early access for console?? Giants sent Mr. Sealyp, who I'm sure you know is a console creator like yourself, a PC version. I don't know what they were thinking because I'm sure they know he's a console player. Anyway, Mr. Sealyp is waiting for Tuesday to roll around so he can get the console version and then he'll start creating some Silver Run videos. Very nice video BTW. Thank you sir for your time.

I am using a PC version of the game, but not using any mods that are PC only. Everything in the videos I'm making will be able to be used and done by console players.

Well, I found one issue with the containers for auto loading, although that’s really nice but if you own the old sawmill on Silver run forest and you try to sell the containers there they sell at the drop off, but none of the lumber goes towards your sawmill, sells them straight out and then if you try to use the containers full of wood to drop off at yoursawmill on Silver run Forest. You can’t sell them at the sawmill not in the containers containers are only good for auto loading to be sold straight out can’t use them to stock at the old sawmill.

But as I found out you can only sell the logs and container at the container yard. You can’t use it to transport logs to the sawmill to be made into other products like planks. So still have to manually load logs if you’re using them rather than selling them.

Full untrimmed trees will go into the containers but you take a big hit on the price.

The price is affected for sure. Researching how much of a penalty it is to have logs that are too short.

You get reimbursed for the container. After each sale you will need to get a new one.

So if you can only use this container to sell logs, it's pointless if your using the logs in productions, especially on other base game maps. Especially when you can't unload it. So in reality, console players don't have a use for this at all.

Why not get the NMC loader , bigbag handler(8k base col. JD), and any logtrailer for semi-trucks with 10Meter logs and you can just load 125% with 3/4 goes and send down 50k of logs down the road Instead of paying cash for silver-arse , and invest 50 more for a lesser operation, IE using more diesel due to having more empty journeys Edit: EVEN MORE since you would need to drive to the store or re connect the trailer

This is the dumbest thing I I have seen lol, I guess I am old fashioned, loading logs and hauling them on a log trailer is so much more fun and satisfying,, but that's only my opinion.
