In This video fully explains the automatic transfer switch (ATS) for single phase .
*) when utility power is interupted
*) then relay coil will be de-energize
*) And ten after generator will be start automatically
*) utility power returned , relay coil will be energize immediatly
*) then relay react as norlally open condition
*) and then after generator will be turn off automatically
