Good explanation video. But torque convertors liquid maathavendiyathu elanu solranga mechanics enga and fortuner crossed 3.7 lakhs without oil changes for torque covertors and Hyundai Creta crossed 1.9 lakhs. May be whether he says the maintanence for Dual clutch??? CVT and DCT maintanence pananum and torque convertors oil change is compulsory without it showing any issues??

Much Needed Information. I saw videos but Mr.Velu explained very clearly with gear box. I also using manual mode in hills for better control. Every known mechanic said to me DSG gearbox only will give complaint mostly and replacement cost is very high. Thanks Birla bro.

I feel in this country there is a huge demand for highly trained persons in automobile service industry. With some good basis degree or diploma in mechanical , automobile or mechatronics students can easily earn very decent income comparable to white collar jobs in IT industry if only these graduates and diploma holders have real passion for such jobs . Unfortunately, in our education system admissions are made enmass with out any importance to aptitude . I congratulate Mr Velu for his running a successful high tech service centre.

My polo tsi 1.2 dsg, very good for driving. But you must be prepared for heavy expenses. DSG will get heated up in our hot climate. If you get stuck in heavy traffic don't idle the engine for long periods. Don't drive in water logged conditions. I spent 1.75 lakhs twice for mechatronics failure , 1.25 lakhs for dual clutch plate + flywheel assembly change. car has run 100000 kms. For our conditions, manual gear box is the ideal one. AMT, IMT all will give jerking problems later on. Conventional torque converter or cvt is better for automatic.

Automate company convert your manual car to automatic for 45000 rupees. U can turn on or off and use manual or automatic as you wish. I installed in my swift zdi 2015. This mechanism make your clict pressed automatically when you touch the gear knob, so that you don't need to press the clutch.

The mechatronics failure was almost rectified by replacing the synthetic oil to mineral oil bro. It is applicable to all DSG. And also it was not recommended by the VE to change the DSG mechatronics oil in its life time. Atleast we cannot change until the warranty period ends. 7 yrs or 1.5 lakh KM.

@Birlas Parvai sir I have Tata Tigor vehicle. My yappa car la utkandhalum oru madhiri smell varudhu plus long drive pona vomit varudhu solra. AC vera podamudiyala. AC pota avaluku vomit varudhu. Yanaku onnum appadi terila Carla. What can be done for this. Day la sun light drive pannumbodhu I can feel the plastic smell. Is this because of low quality product used in interior. Thank you Sir, I’m planning for Virtus GT DSG next year so had these questions in my mind.. Can you make a separate video only for DSG like how to properly use it (city, highways, rough terrains and hills) to avoid damage to gearbox, how to gain mileage and reliability etc… what happens when you use the DSG cars in rough terrains, how to avoid heating issues , how to diagnose if the DSG is causing trouble during drive, etc

I too planning to buy Hyundai i20 DCT. So far, I watched many videos about DCT. In my opinion, while driving in B2B traffic we should put Neutral when we stop the car to avoid heating, avoiding rev the engine in traffic is also good for gear box (sudden rev and slowing down the engine will confuse this gear box in traffic). Some more tips has been given in this video.
