At 17:00 and further, I am incorrect to suggest that you can’t change the description after the automated update. The interface just takes a while for it to be updated.
Very cool use case of my example code! You really made it your own! My guess is that YT will completely remove API access to dislikes for the public, but you never know! I also ran into the issue at the end where it appears that it takes a really long time to sync YT studio descriptions after they have been updated, like 24 hours.
That file has since been deprecated. (renamed mostly) I have the updated files located here: github.com/SpencerPao/RU-vid_Automation You can do "pip install ytad" for the source files. Or, you can clone repo and run "python update_notifications.py -h" for CLI help commands. Currently working on getting CLI compatible with pypi but am currently having bugs. Hopefully, I can finish it soon!
