What i love the most about this is the interest for the genre factorio created, by devs and the players. A 3d platform style may get another type of player to try it which imho can only be good for the genre. But there's a lot to be done to get the finishing touch of factorio. So I'll stay with the first of kind for now but I'll follow this one and see where it goes
We will now have 3 games in the Factory genre: Factorio, Satisfactory, and Automation Empire. Fingers crossed that the newcomer will be as high-quality as the first two (especially Factorio).
@@domin1c i was hyped at first but, trains are way too buggy and they do everything they can to make life harder when they design a map just for the sake of it.. I'm not sold anymore. They could improve but it's nothing near factorio maturity
I fucking love how this is what factorio would actually look like in 3d, the robots, materials, trains, conveyers, I'm definitely picking this up when it comes out
ok, good job. My another at least 200 hours are already gone in the future... Just like how my 650 hours have gone in factorio... I love the idea that railway system has bridge. We tried very hard to make intersection for rrailway in factorio but turned out nothing..
Factorio... but.... Beautifull? Is that what you are saying? Factori, while being pixelart, still has fairly good graphics and they are all getting a HD make over as of the time being, or they might all be done, i belive
Oct 2022 the monorail worked fine for me. Moving on to the glacial world, I no longer get box to add cars when clicking on monorail section. Did something change/patch since Oct 2022? I load previous worlds and the adding car option works. Can you help with issue? Discussion page on Steam is full of folks saying you abandoned this game.
Under what rock did something like THIS hide for so long? How it is possible that it was totally under the radar? If the developers want it to be "done" at release and no early acess beta testing crap.... KUDOS! Now i know what to play till Summer. PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY!
Game is awesome, but needs a some work. First, need way more planets or just have a map generator where a new map is generated every time you start a new game. Second, need a way to copy things. Gets old quickly having to build every single thing again and again even if it's identical to another. Should be able to copy a group of items or even an entire building. Third, add more materials and combinations. Fourth, maybe add upgrades to trucks to become semi's and tankers. Need the ability to expand a building without having to demolish it. Should be a way for crate makers to share belts without needing the overhead transfer crane. Not sure why you can't have two crates next to each other on the indoor belts. Why can't the unload and load belts make turns? Mine cart tracks need the ability to be placed diagonally.
i would prefer to compare it to factorio, as it appears to have a solid grid and such and thereby is not as free form as satisfactory. it also looks a bit dirtier than satisfactory while not being as dirty as factorio, witch takes a dirty, Dieselpunk look.
True, but the fact that it's already on steam (and not as a preorder) gives me the impression they're well into development and not in a kickstarter/fundraising phase. I'm hopeful! Even if it isn't next month, that'll be spring 2020.
@@greeny-dev They're shitt. Dont have space to share screenshot, discussion and all things that made steam be what it is. They claim that steam take too much from the dev, but dont know how much steam invest in R&D for you have groups and etc. Also, why should i have thousands of apps just to play some games? If its not on steam, i'll just wait some scene group to crack it and then download, as much i love to buy games from indies dev, i dont want install another launch to have my games.
@@Meephz Waaah, you need another app, boo hoo. It's really not a big deal. But you'd rather crack it and not get updates? While the epic store is a pile of hot garbage, so was Steam back in the day. Steam was SHIT on release, and Epic Store is getting better much faster. It already has cloud saves. How much did Steam "invest" in their client? Fuck all. It's pretty much just a glorified IRC client with dropbox attached. The worst part though is Valve are so large in the games industry and they don't even make or publish games any more. They just sit on their huge pile of money and do nothing. They take a whopping 30% of everything they sell. EVERYTHING. Epic takes only 12%, and even less if you use their awesome Unreal Engine to make your game. The Unreal Engine alone is a fucking fantastic and brilliant addition to the games industry as a whole. So many games have been made in Unreal since 1999 it's insane. Epics had problems with Security, and so did Steam. Epic Store is pretty crap at the moment, and so was Steam. But Epic actually gives out free games and supports the games industry with a lower cut and an awesome game engine. Steam doesn't.
As I stated to another. Epic games is garbage? Yet thet gove out free games. Just got Surviving Mars and two add ons for free two weeks ago...i get theres no discussion and stuff like that but honestly who uses steam to discuss. Its all done on reddit/facebook or the game's website forums. Steam discussions are a jumbled mess. Filled with people mostly whining about how crappy of a gamer they are.
@@greeny-dev The multiple incidents, with for example Satisfactory and METRO, witch people don't want to happen. Epic is also know as the """Screaming little kids""" magnet due to Förtnöight, witch i think is fround upon in the factorio and satisfactory comunities to a degree. Also the epic store has way to little of the features that most people expect from these typse of software as 90% of the """""""REAL PC GAMESR"""""" only use steam normally
Dog Hoggler is lazy company. no update. no support . i never buy a game from Dog Hoggler. dead website. sean an brad missing options. 25euro for that crap support. never
