@@firsttimejonnyNow imagine that but an old battery powered walkie-talkie is inbedded in the mouth of this thing and a man just talks casually to you about funny things that happened to him in high-school and college while the automata is shooting the toothpick sized arrows at you
Reminds me of that Asian (forget the origin, Japanese or Chinese) automaton of a lady shooting arrows. Cute small, very delicate, would be nice if the two were in the same room, that'd be a very interesting contrast.
@@arburo1 OK.I made this very simple automaton to give a more realistic action, (I wasn't concerned about the aesthetics). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UajIxPdUZVE.html Specifically, the bow arm should stay relatively straight and the string is drawn back by the other arm pulling back. In your automaton, the draw (which is rather short) is achieved by bow hand pushing forward. The action of picking up the arrow is superb.
In the murder mystery version of this video the Prime Minister is watching a demonstration of this toy. No one is aware that the arrow is poison tipped and the trajectory has been altered.
Well, I clicked on this video fully expecting to see a puppet kill someone with his arrows. I have been horribly misled - I demand my 2:07 back! But seriously, that would make a pretty cool murder mystery... ;D
