Zach and I took out our medium format film cameras for some automotive film photography. We primarily shot with the Pentax 67 105mm and 55mm and the Mamiya 7ii with the 50mm. Stay tuned for more car videos and film photography videos!
More a photo guy than a car guy, I don''t hate Zach for his 7II, but I do wonder about a guy who would probably do better with a fully auto 35mm SLR and who fawns over cars which will cost him more than reasonable to keep running and still be a garage queen. Clearly, these guys have a lot of money to piss away for basically nothing. I'm unclear as to why they are shooting film instead of digital. Digital is clearly more their speed.
I think in most cases you could argue digital makes more sense to shoot with over film. Of course we could've easily shot digital photos for this but the process of shooting and learning film is the reason why we shot film and an excuse to go out and shoot.
