Hi, thank you for your videos. I recently fixed a vertical line issue on my tv using the tape method you’ve shown on a previous video but now I’m seeing a section of the screen in ‘black and white’ or green. Do you have any recommendations?
Thanks. I think you may mean horizontal line because the tape method won't work on a vertical line. Unfortunately, I don't know what you mean by section of the screen. Did you happen to watch my video on vertical lines? That may shed some light on the issue. But if you are seeing discoloration it could be the tcon board or a problem on the lcd panel.
My luba lost reception, again, in a very bad place right next to the garage. My wife didn't see it, and clipped it with her truck. Broke the front and rear suspension, and I was getting fault code for the front motor. Initially tech support seemed like they were going to help. I gave them all the information. They sent another email asking for the device name, which I sent. I never heard from again. I sent numerous emails. I told them, I am capable of doing the repairs myself, and that I will pay for the parts. Nothing. My only option is to buy the only set of used motors is can find for $250, and epithet JB weld tge suspension or pay about $600 for a used set. No guarantee that will fix my $2,700 paperweight. If you're the gambling type, buy a Luba. Do not expect any support if you have a problem.

A good one is expensive, there are bad ones that are also expensive (this might be the latter with its 'vision' and gimmicky wheels, RTK is a good feature though. Name brands are only just starting to offer them. If your lawn isn't perfectly flat with defined edges and no mud spots, then it will be stuck a lot. It's also a giant battery roaming around unattended, which might be a consideration in some areas
They sent it to me in March to try it out and make a video. They did not tell me what to say nor did they get to see any of the video before I posted it. Like I mentioned I was initially going to write a more critical review but the firmware updates corrected the problems I had and now it works great. I have one and am very pleased with it. I got least expensive model (1000) as my lawn is not huge whereas the other models have a larger battery and can map more zones (I have 4 zones which is deals with at different times of the day on a cycle of 3 days out of 7). It did concern me that a lesser known company might be a risky proposition but after last years model was updated to the Luba 2 I took the risk. I'm getting older as is my back so not mowing the lawn helps and frees up more time for more pleasurable things :-D
