Thank you Arthur, it's good to know they're still useful for people. We are still in the motorhome hire game, for now at least, so if there is anything not covered inour videos you want help with don't hesitate to ask. Freephone 0800 6444 199. Cheers, Peter and Jane
This is perfect 4me. I've had a 32' Class-A Mtr/Hm, and although I loved it, it comes with a whole slew of issues and limitations This is a shrunken version of a class A; the amenities without the bulk. I would love to find one when I retire in a yr or 2 and move to Italy as an ex-pat. 😊
You'll probably find one quite easily in a couple of years. We anticipate the market being flooded by then, because a lot of people who purchased them because of Covid will realise they're sitting on the drive and not being used will want to sell. Happy travelling! :)
For a solo owner of a Duetto, the single bed layout can actually be made bigger by swivelling the passenger seat fully around so the seat squab butts up to bed when it's slid down. I use my Duetto this way as i have no need for the double.
@@thermaldog I'm 5'9 and the way i used the single bed layout is as i described...i used to swivel the passenger seat around then butt the single seat up against the passenger seat which gives more length. As the Duetto is only 5.5m in overall length, internal space is at a premium so you do have to think carefully about what you fill it with!
I can't help but smile as he tells you what a comfy bed it is with his legs bent up. It look like beds for hobbits. If he had laid with his legs straight on the double version, I would have believed him, but even then he was part sideways with his legs bent. I would have liked to know the bed lengths in both directions?
Hi, he is 6'2" tall and kept legs bent so as to keep shoes off the upholstery. Bed dimesions are available to view and download in PDF format on our website derbyshire-motorhome-hire.co.uk
Hi, we didn't have this one reupholstered. Fortunately the fabric was all in tact and we cleaned it with a carpet extraction machine and some very clever gentle chemicals. In the past we have reupholstered motorhomes ourselves, it takes time and patience but saves hundreds. Minimum quote we've ever had is £2,000.
Hi sorry we have sold this van now and the instruction book went with it. I can tell you i am 6ft 2in and i can only just lay on the single bed, its really not comfy at all.
Hi, my very efficient business and life partner found the actual measurements in a handbook she put together when we owned the vehicle, still saved electronically ..... Single beds (each) are 6 feet long by 2 feet and 2 inches wide Double bed measures 6 feet long by 5 feet and 4 inches wide
@@dmhmotorhomehire7110 That's exceptionally kind of you and your good Lady to search out this information for me, I am extremely grateful, thank you. Good fortune to you both and stay safe .
Hi There are significant differences between the Duetto and Symbol, and those differences don’t just relate to the base vehicle (eg. Duetto is rear-wheel drive, Symbol is front-wheel drive) but also to the interior volume and layout. Try the Autosleepers forum for more details.
Hola, gracias por tu observación. La cama está bien para la mayoría de la gente, sólo que el hombre muy guapo que la muestra mide 190 centímetros de alto. ;-)
Some do, some don't. Our Symbol has a 3 point seatbelt in the front facing seat just behind the passenger seat, and a lap belt in the side facing seat just behind the driver's seat.
