Braid is an absolute must, as the thin diameter cuts through weeds encountered mid-fight and allows you to have lots of line - having lots of lighter line is better than having less of heavy line - carp are notorious for long screaming runs. although I was hooked oringinally on uncut angling because of the lake trout stuff I think this is one of the best episodes ever. Those things have some amazing power. Reminds me of bonefish and permit runs. I will be looking into Maine carp fishing after ice season. Keep up the amazing work, I learn a ton. The aqua vu stuff blows my mind.

Well done boys. As a Brit' we're force fed carp fishing all day long. We manage to make it the most boring sport ever. Super technical rigs, alarms, comfy beds and lots of yawning. That actually looked more fun, but I'd still end up fishing like Aaron did, stood up with my rod in my hand. Aaron, go back and cast a lure at them, now that would be a fun video!

Use a hanger og a swinger biteindicator in conjuction with the bitealarm, and you will get a much more sensitive and accurate biteindication!

The rod you're using are very different by wat we use here. And the carp there are biting very instant! They don't know the trick. Here in Europe They are very carefull by what they eat. Nice vid;)

In 'Merica we just use arrows and 150 lb line to the bow.

Corn normally binds fish up. I whitefish through the ice and people get mad when people chum with corn and not spawn because it binds the fish up and they won't bite

Those carp are non-native. They crowd out native species and muck up the water with their constant rooting.

Carp fishing isn't that famous in america, is it? When you look at the tackle some of the european carp specialists use, yours is like really really basic.... (I use pretty much the same and it catches its fish, but the various types of special carp tackle you can get here is insane! As is the amount of money you can spend on it...) Still... the best tackle is the one that catches... so well done! I wanna see more! ;)
