Thanks, just gorgeous and so easy. I do not make jewellery. However, my hobby is decorating Christmas balls with smocking. I am going to make these to cap the tops and bottoms which I think is going to look beautiful and finish off the balls nicely. I have so much trouble finding pretty inexpensive caps and your design is the perfect solution to personalise and make my own. I sincerely thank and appreciate your sharing.

i've been following your channel. this project is beautiful. i saw on a different thread that some persons are asking how to make it stiff as some of their work turned out soft or curly.i think if you use monofilament the entire structure will be stiff,just like the tutorials on rings.

This is a very pretty design but my earring came out very floppy. I used 6lb. Fireline and will try 8lb. for the next pair. Here are some tips from what I learned. Start with a yard of thread. Do not use Miyuki beads as they are too small. Before tying knots reinforce the earring following the thread path through all the single beads beneath the 4mm pearls and also, through the 4mm pearls.

I used wildfire and mine are nice and firm.

I will give that a try. Wildfire is a bit stiffer than Fireline.
