Girl you go! at the end of our life we will regret the things we didn't do, and likely laugh or smile at all the things we tried doing. I'm so glad you don't care what people think, I'm trying to get to that point! I injured my leg and am on crutches and it's so embarrassing going out in public but I'm slowly making progress! Thanks for sharing your life with us, it's super encouraging!
My favorite thing to do in autumn is a lovely walk wrapped up in a cosy scarf with a mug of tea. When the weather in the morning is really crisp and chilly. Can't top that.
Fellow Scot here. Just discovered your videos and they are great, thank you for being you. I need to get up to the Highlands more and just reconnect with that side of my life. Thank you.
5:09 it must be great not working and having rich parents to subsidise a life of walking, swimming, reading, drinking coffee & making videos reminding everyone just how shite their life is by comparison !
I don't usually respond to comments but I want Niamh to realise that not everyone thinks the way you do. It seems like she acknowledges her privilege and appreciates her life. She definitely doesn't make me feel shit about my life? I just think wow lucky girl GOOD FOR HER, rather than compare. Maybe ask why you feel the need to criticise someone online you don't know and make assumptions about her life?
@@Lara-EmMoo she fishing for compliments - can't you see that? Here's is my incredible life: here's me in bed reading, here's me going for a walk in the sun, here's me swimming in the sun, here's me drinking coffee in the sun, here's me in the kitchen making scones. Yet she can do this as unlike the great unwashed going to work in the rain, holding down jobs, paying of mortgages we are supposed to feel amazed and happy for her !
@@revol148 I love the escapism in the videos. And I think it's ok to share that. She's not pretending to be something she's not. She talks about the fact it's her parents house. She also mention her work too. And she mentions she doesn't vlog if she's not feeling great because she wants to share a more positive vibe. Everyone is dealt a different hand. I live semi rural in a cheaper part of Wales. I work full time, but still make time to go for a walk in the sun, go out for a coffee and hunker down by the fire if it's pissing down. I'm sorry you felt the need to be so negative. There is reality all around us. It's ok to escape that in a vlog. And you don't have to watch if that doesn't align for you. All the best.
@revol148 she has a job and has been away at uni and also makes money through RU-vid. Obviously most people can't live like this but i doubt she will be there with her parents forever. Most younger people have to live with their parents now because rent is too expensive and mortgages unachievable for a lot of people. I can't imagine there are many house shares or affordable accommodation on Skye which is why younger generations leave and head in to mainland Scotland and England for work. Before you start- I left home at 16, work, live in a very small terraced house with 3 kids and overlook a busy road. I think people watch these videos and take them with a pinch of salt really, they are just moments and not someone's whole life. I'd love to live there and make RU-vid videos for a living but at least I can watch these!
