This is the famous Jazz Standard 'Autumn Leaves' by Joseph Kosma. I made an instrumental version of it using the Bass Guitar as a solo instrument. The bass line for the accompaniment and the chords were recorded using the same instrument.

If I’m ever put on the spot to audition or show someone something on the bass-this is the go to! Such a great chord progression! I always start on C but am not sure what key that is. Where are you starting?

Oh yes, I like it! It has a short scale, and it's easier to play the fast crazy stuff than using a usual scale! It also has the range up to F. It is higher than many basses have!

@@khankann i also love it. Not just the sound but also it looks just cool. I had a question, maybe because I am noob but do you experience neck dive? I like to keep the strap a bit loose but neck dive drives me crazy:(

@@mByyurt no I don’t! I usually keep my bass in a high position, so it’s at the same level when I sit or stand. I don’t know if it’s helpful for you.

It's me accompanying me :) The accompaniment was pre-recorded using the same instrument!

You don't know what a solo is. When a guitar solo plays some other instruments still accompany, like drums for example.

Good ,smart and fun reply..👍.criticism is always easier than creation what is the point in this type of free comments without added value..... Tatiana your interpretation on this great jazz standard is great, any chance to have different tabs for the solo and for the walking bass
