Ditto x2 is the pedal I recommend for beginner loopers, and I'm actually using it here in this video since it can be battery powered easily :) It's idiot simple, has a dedicated stop button and just works! My fancy looper is the Boomerang iii, fantastic looper with tons of functionality

Oh and my dissertation was basically a big guide book on how to do exactly this sort of looping thing, including a bunch of sheet music for charts like this - available for free at www.cutt.ly/DMA

@@MissMoonshineDance Violin pickup of some kind, instrument cables, an AC-DC 9-VOLT ADAPTOR to plug in when you don't want to eat through batteries.. There are lots of amps out there, but the top battery powered ones IMO are the Fishman Loudbox Charge (what I'm using in this vid) and the Boss S1 pro. Not sure if you've got a pickup already, but I made a little guide to amplifying acoustic violin with some of the ones that I'm familiar with that you can check out at sizviolin.com/amplify-acoustic-violin

Sometimes, but most classical stuff has less of a repetitive harmonic form so it gets tricky to lay down the harmonic framework in a reasonable amount of time (unless you’re playing canon in D :))
