UK guy here. I've never been to the States, but I always promised myself that, if I ever crossed the pond to visit it, New England in Autumn would be where I'd go, and videos like this absolutely justify that wish 😊
Jeremy, I’m from New England and studied abroad in England for a little. I think you might just feel at home in this part of the States, being from the UK. Make the journey. Be Well!
as an Indonesian i always feel jealous watching videos showing how beautiful other countries are. i imagine to be able to walk like this in a town or village where i can't find trashes on the street and i can walk comfortably on a proper sidewalk, roam around a beautiful town
I mean, not all cities in the USA are like this. Same with Indonesia. Not all cities are full of garbage. Bandung, for instance is a nice city to walk around. I believe there are other cities like Bandung as well. If you think that Indonesia is all garbage and not walkable sidewalks, it only means that you don't know your own country that much, that you haven't seen enough. Because there ARE walkable cities back at home. Even Jakarta has some very walkable areas in it. But of course you can't expect a tropical country like Indonesia to have the same ambience to that of a subtropical area like Vermont, so.
@@dapoop5150 I agree! I was 13 years old at the time of the move - had no say in the matter. Well, I did have a say, but my parents weren't listening to me 😃
What I like about videos like this is the videographer didn't violate anyone's privacy. He/she didn't sit on the porches of private homes for a photo op. This videographer is highly respectful, and doesn't treat the town as if it's Disneyland. He/she respects that real people live here. So few social media influencers do that, sadly.
I appreciate this, I do my best to protect people’s privacy. Of course that can be challenging when walking throughout towns, but staying on public property is always my intention. Also blurring faces when I can, I will try to do. Thank you for watching!
I live in this town, and people walk on to porches, hop over fences, send drones to photograph the private parts of yards. Social media has made the pursuit of the Instagram worth photo a goal, and people will invate privacy, trample gardens and work in pursuit of likes.@@moonlitegram
This video is a must-watch for anyone who loves America! The scenery is breathtaking, and the flag is a reminder of all the things we have to be thankful for.
In 2016 I did my first travel to the USA. I spent a week in New York City and a week in Vermont. Wanted to visit New York as it is a must for someone who loves architecture, skyscrapers and iconic places. I chose the end of September and start of October as I wanted to experience Autumn. I knew Vermont was the best place ever to see for the first time in my life the colors of this season. I had the best experience ever. I believe every human being must have the chance to experience this season, as it is cozy, romantic, introspective, peaceful, soul lifting. It connects your inside with nature, it clears your mind, gives you peace. The temperature, the sounds, the smells, how the time and the weather flow. I will never forget Autumn effects on me. Vermont will live in my heart forever, what a stunning blessed place!! Thank you so much for my watering eyes by seeing it again through your video.
Woodstock Vermont is one of the most serene if not the most serenest place of the world . I wish I could live there . Thank you for being so thoughtful and uploading this video
@@NewEnglandExploration Please do most more videos like this . I live in a country where being in a beautiful place like this is nothing but a dream and your videos are literally making those dreams come true
This is one of the greatest ambience perfections on RU-vid. Even with the music, it keeps the music UNDER the ambient sound level so as not to be the main thing you hear. It's like the best of both worlds for those of us who prefer the natural sounds over music.
Nino Rota - What is a youth Zimmer - Now we are free...
We went to Woodstock a few years ago when we visited New England. I have to say it is one of the prettiest places I have visited. Exactly as I imagined it to be. I would love to go back one day and stay a little longer.
Gorgeous place! I will have to someday come and explore Vermont. I live in Texas. Don’t get me wrong as we have some pretty places here but I’ve always heard how beautiful Vermont is especially in the Fall. Thank you for posting this.
We were lucky, and I mean lucky enough to visit all the New England States in 2016, Vermont was so beautiful and peaceful. Hope you manage to visit soon. Then probably come and visit Old England
I love New England, unfortunately I've never been there and I've only seen it in movies or in beautiful videos like these. I'm from southern Italy and here everything is very different, there are no such trees with these wonderful colors. This place puts peace, it's really gorgeous!
Greetings from Turkey! The architecture of the streets and houses is truly stunning. It would be a delight to stroll through such a peaceful and beautiful setting.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I ENVY people that live in this beautiful neighborhood, so peaceful and wonderful. The “influencers”, RU-vidrs” and people desperately trying to become “famous” have ruined what used to be a beautiful city in Los Angeles. I hope to live somewhere like this one day.
This is absolutely stunning. Vermont is one of the states I plan on traveling to. It looks peaceful and relaxing. I am from South FL so this would be a different and awesome experience for sure🍂🍁🍁🍂🍁🍂
We went to Vermont a few years ago looking at colleges for our daughter. It was fall and I fell in love! This video made me cry due to the sheer beauty of this wonderful state! We hope to get back there in a few years! Thanks for posting this!
That has to be a wonderful place to live! Just so beautiful. Tough winters maybe but I’m sure you can adapt. Love the video. The town looks so amazing.
I was watching Vermont videos-and this came up as a suggested video. Stayed at The Shire-so many time I lost count. It was our home base until we finally found a place in Newfane to build. But man-i could just chill all day in the center of the town on (the Greene) and just turn off my mind and listen to the wind. It honestly is one of the most amazing quaint and charming towns Ive ever stayed in!!! Thank you for sharing.
The Rockefellers have had an enormous impact on the overall character of Woodstock, Vermont. They helped preserve the 19th century architecture and the rural feel. They built the Woodstock Inn, a center point for the town. Laurance and Mary French Rockefeller also had the village's power lines buried underground.
Wow, what a beautiful autumn walk! 🍂🍁The colors of the leaves and the peaceful ambiance are just so soothing to watch. I love how you capture the essence of the season. Can't wait to see more of your walks. 📽🚶♂🌳
These are break-taking views...especially the very beginning. I always imagined New England looking like this in Autumn. I live in the Southern part of the USA, and it's pretty in the fall as well, but I think the colors are more distinct in New English. Thank you for sharing!
«Сижу в одиночестве, смотрю это видео и слушаю эту музыку, я не могу сдержать слез. Спасибо, что поделились этими прекрасными изображениями и успокаивающими мелодиями, это действительно душевное спокойствие. моя душа».
I've always been arguing with my friends about how beautiful America is. When people think of US, they all picture LA, New York, Miami etc. This is beautiful OMG, my favourite is Iowa btw. Wish I could visit and spend couple of days in there.
Honestly, I’m more looking forward to the autumn season than Halloween. People seriously don’t take the time to appreciate the beauty of nature’s ability to change, as displayed through the changing colors of the leaves from green to orange, yellow, and brown! Something about the sight and atmosphere of autumn trees, combined with the weather getting cooler gives me that sense of warmth and relaxation, and the best thing about it is that it beats out any Halloween house decoration or costume that people obsess over during this time of the year (imo of course). I am really impressed by the amount of natural spaces this place has. Vermont is, without any doubt, so magical! Thanks a lot for sharing us this amazing place! It was pretty relaxing! 😊 😊 Walks always give me the chills! Greetings from Zacatecas Mexico! 🇲🇽 😊
🇺🇦Hello from Ukraine! Amazing nature!
Absolutely breathtaking! I have lived in new England my entire 45 yrs on earth and autumn is my favorite time of year! These back road towns are so full of character and beauty....I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
Woodstock is the shire town (county seat) of Windsor County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2020 census, the town population was 3,005. It includes the villages of Woodstock, South Woodstock, Taftsville, and West Woodstock.
We are from the Netherlands and are going to New England in the fall. It seems beautiful there to us. We also have an overnight stay near Woodstock. we're looking forward to it 😊
