I have the 4K xsight and now the ABL 1500. What a great set up! Thanks to Rod Gerard, Kenny Acres and Jonathan Flores at ATN customer support/tech support. Love it. They really are great folks. Went out today sited in. Scope and range finder could not ask for anything better. Hunting season right around the corner. I bet it will look good on the crossbow. Do I hear elk in my future.
Good Video, except you forgot to mention the tiny set screw on the casing right above the 2 set screws that should be loosened and then subsequently tightened after retightening the 2 set screws.
At 3:06, there's a step missing that should inform the buyers to loosen the 1/16" hex screw in the cover before trying to remove the inside ring. I struggled for half an hour before I realized that was there.
If I have my Thor 4 sighted in at 100 yards and i have my Abl 1000 turned on and it was ranged at a target that was 64 yards away, when i power off the Abl and the Thor, would it revert back to my 100 yard zero when i power my Thor 4 back on? Or will it still be set at the 64 yards?
If the BC is turned on then it will adjust to the range you have on the screen. If the BC is off it will show the crosshairs to the 100 yards you zeroed at.
@ATNCorp Does it matter if you zero the ABL before you have zeroed the sight for the right caliber? Do you have to zero the ABL everytime when you use different caliber/ballistic profiles?
Once this is set up on a thor 4 thermal scope and paired. When changing targets through scope should the ABL be giving a reading at top left for new target as scanning??? Or do you have to push the range button for each new target distance?
Do you have to push the button before every kill shot? How long will it hold that yardage reading to shot at game ? Does it make a difference if it's like you did at 9 o'clock or like some people do 12 o'clock?
Hi, can you fit range finder to the other side of scope (right hand side) as i have ATN X sight 2, and the i/r torch fits to picatinny rail on left hand side of scope, thank you. Tim
I can not see the lazer when zeroing. I have tried to adjust the mounting of ABL twice ,,it seems to be aligned. and bench testing it should be lit up in cross hairs,,,its right there but just cannot see it thru scope
I put rifle in a holder and the red dot lazer was on bullseye while zeroing. Yet I could not see it thru the scope. I zeroed the crosshairs anyhow. Its was only off by a inch or so. I can see the lazer plain as day ,,but not thru scope. Can you see the lazer through the Thor 4??? From this video sure seems like you can??
Hey ATN my ATN Auxiliary Ballistic Laser 1000 does not pair with my ATN X-Sight II HD 5-20X. I have installed the latest firmware 2.1.07.779! can you help me ? A video on the subject would be good (ATN X-Sight II HD 5-20X). I live in Netherlands, tele to USA is expensive .. Greetings Rick
Hi, got the X-Sight II and when i put on the ABL it obstructs the IR Light. Can you turn the ABL to the other side without running in to any problems? When it takes readings or ranging i mean.
whats the best distance to zero the ABL? I did it at 20 yards bang in the center. But when I rechecked the ABL zero at 40 yards the laser dot was outside of the reticle box.. So there is crossover accouring.
Hi ATN Corp ABL looks great .... But ! Can't find anything about. This is the question that ails me. So ATN X-SIGHT 4K PRO pared with ABL The ballistic computer can correct the impact point for a moving target ??? Aiming at a target with the rangefinder the speed of the target is easily calculated. If it is not now, I hope it will be done in the next software update. this will be awesome.
Very informative video. If shooting say at 30 yards or 200 yards will it automatically adjust the zero point? Also does it account for wind, humidity and temp? If so can you do a video of that?
It does EVERYTHING all you have to do is put in the ballistic info! And if it's a windy day, keep telraxk of that and input it in, then range it and shoot! The ABL will do everything CORRECTLY, only if you input the Ballistic info. In correctly!
Great video. Can you tell me if your scope is set at say 50 yards and you range find some at 150 yards does it automatically adjust the crosshairs to that range?
@@AtncorpOptics you know I personally can think of about 5 things you can do to improve your scopes to make them that much better.. but I'm never going to be able to afford them so
I purchased the ABL 1500 for my ATN ThOR 4 640 4-40 and the ThOR 4 series ring is too small, so it won’t screw on to my scope. Without the proper ring there’s no way I can install the ABL 1500.
@@AtncorpOptics I got the abl1000 and have the X sight HD. When pairing it did not turn blue it is white but says it is paired does that matter?? I can not find the advanced settings option ??
Hi once I've set up my ABL, if I remove it from the scope will I have to go through the whole set up procedure again or will it be ok just to refit to the scope and use again straight away?
Great Video! How did you stream the sight image including the widgets? My recordings only show the crosshairs and the ATN logo in the lower right with the range, but nothing else in the viewfinder image in the scope itself... Would love to have the widgets in the recordings as well...
@@AtncorpOptics sorry guys ...reside in UK...I am OK with the zero process just cant get the laser to shine on the white target at 50yrds..can supply my e/mail address
I zeroed mine at night using night vision mode on my X-Sight 4K at 48 yards. You can clearly see the laser but it shows up as an elongated dot, not a round dot. I zeroed it to the middle of the elongated dot.
@@AtncorpOptics I will be shooting up to 200 plus yards with a hmr so if I don't enter the wind speed and environment will the scope still automatically a just the point of impact?
That's not what I heard I'm going through and seeing countless reviews where they say the battery doesn't last at all 20 minutes dead it's crazy when companies try to upsell but cannot get back two people that's trying to figure out why it goes dead so fast
And he says use lubricant to get the thing on. That’s a horrible idea unless it’s DSLR lube. You put 3in1 or kroil on that you’ll never get it off the lens surface without solvent. And most chemical solvents are death to electronics.
@@andrewthompson4093 I would check the battery. Make sure that the plastic cover on the battery is off. Also could be a bad battery. Try a different one.
Very good job - overall. However, the speaker needs to learn to speak up and denunciate much better. There's just too many words he says that are not understandable.
