I never heard of Ava Max before this, but these two had good chemistry together. I also like how Ava was willing to share the spotlight equally, allowing Daneliya to shine.

This is just amazing. This shows Daneliya can perform with the accomplished artists. And my hat off to Ava Max. I usually see them come on to perform with a contestant and they try to bury the contestant. She let Daneliya showcase her talent. Very nice. And like Ava said of Daneliya "Watch out world!!"

Daneliya was holding back. I could hear that. I think singing with Ava it finally was driven home in Daneliya that she every bit as good as Ava. I wouldn't be surprised if Ava told her that she was as good as anyone out there. The reason I say this is because when she got home and started singing again her confidence level was through the roof. She has been singing at a level she might not have had not heard if not for her appearance with Ava. That is Daneliya's biggest barrier believing she belongs. Well she sure as hell does.

Is that amazing, that Daneliya, 14 yo singer, can keep up with Ava Max, with only 1 day practicing and rehearsal, and Daneliya never sang this song before. If you are really big fans of Daneliya, then check out her fan club channel video's. You'll find out she also has close relations with Polina Gagarina. That also would been cool to see a Polina duet, but I doubt AGT would fly her out from Russia for a 2 minute performance.

Daneliya is clearly the best singer, while I'll give you Ava has more movement on the stage. In the end Daneliya's moves are small but show the kind of emotion she has with the song. You also have to realize that Daneliya is 12 years younger than Ava. Daneliya doesn't need the show, she's a singer not an entertainer. She can dance I seen her but she doesn't need to do that stuff because her connection to the music and her connection to us creates a magic that all the hulabaloo in the world can't provide. I mean Daneliya can stand still and sing a song with more impact than someone who can't sing from that spot inside themselves that all the dancing around cannot make up for what Danya has and gives with each song. There are only a few singers where singing is enough anymore. Daneliya's one, Angelina Jordan is another, then there is the best in Morissette who doesn't need to but wants to which is fine because she has initiated it. Maybe Daneliya will in time incorporate movement into her menu, right now it's not anywhere close to being necessary. Just my opinion. Thanks as always for an active reaction. Daneliya (and best I can tell Daneliya alone) was either "Not Allowed" to perform any song she previous performed or she was "tricked/coerced" into "Not" performing them (see third paragraph below which ends with a link to an interview where when asked about song selection for AGT, she says something along the lines of "it is difficult for me, because the show doesn't want me performing songs I've previous performed" or something along those lines). This eliminated 11 originals, and likely 50-60+ covers (originals and many of the covers are on her RU-vid channel), many of those covers in various languages, including many of the English ones, she made better than the original, some by a wide margin (including multiple songs I hated from the second the originals came out, yet I'm listening to Daneliya's versions on repeat). Three (3) of Roberta's four (4) AGT songs (including her Semi-final and Finale songs) were covered on her RU-vid channel long before AGT, at least 1 of which (her semi-final song I believe) she performed on a TV show some 2 years ago, she'd probably performed the other song before as well. Kenadi performed 2 originals, and likely performed at least 1 of her other 2 songs before as well. As for all the other singers that are older, if you try to argue they never "previously" performed any of the songs they performed on AGT, IMO your critical thinking skills need some work. BTW, no shade on Christina, Kenadi, (Roberta for her first 2 performances only), etc. as I liked them too, but they are NOT anywhere near Daneliya's level IMO. This so called "rule" regarding past performances should NOT have only been applied to Daneliya. So Daneliya (and I believe Daneliya alone), who thinks in Russian, speaks primarily in Russian, doesn't exclusively listen to English music, had to have an English interpreter until this year, had to learn 4 new songs, in a language not her own, while her native-English speaking vocal competitors (we know for sure some, but I bet all), did not. These 4 songs that were likely chosen for her or maybe she got a short list of a 2 or 3 song options (including getting only 3-4 days to learn an extremely technically difficult Sia song for the finale, which she still killed, but this finale and her semi-final song didn't give her the chance to highlight more of the best parts of her vocal arsenal that many of her previous covers would have done). See this interview here when asked about song selection at ~5-28, Kenadi answers first then Daneliya at ~6-25 (I'm guessing the video will likely get pulled, so if you are interested check it out now). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Hsr_FiktByY.html Win or lose, the least Daneliya deserved was a fair competition with the same rules applied to all the vocal acts. If she'd performed her best covers that showcase the best of her vocals for America and the world to hear, and got eliminated in the Semi-Finals, I'd be happier than I am now. To me, this is a travesty. In my opinion, AGT and NBC Universal (that invited her to the show 2 years in a row) used her and her large fan base to improve their sagging ratings, and did whatever they saw fit, to keep her from walking away with a monstrous win here (Song selection matters and for both the Semi-Finals and The Finale, she should have pulled from one of 8-10 of her best past covers). I prefer singing shows and never liked the format of AGT anyway (young kids competing with adults , different types of acts competing against each other, etc., singers don't usually win due to vote split between singers, etc.) so I never watched before this year and will I never watch again (absent a paid performance in the future from the likes of Dimash or Daneliya), but now NBC Universal joins CBS on my sh*t list and lost my viewership for their other shows (and those of their affiliate channels). Likely time to finally cut the "cable TV" since CBS/NBC (and ABC which isn't any better, and ALL the lying news channels that I never watch) all get a piece of my cable bill. Maybe their sponsors will next. At least, Daneliya got more U.S. exposure, and I have 5 new Daneliya performances to enjoy (from uploads on non-AGT channels), but in my opinion, she should have been paid "top-rate" professional performance and appearance fees for ALL her episodes. In my opinion, NBC Universal owes Daneliya a minimum of $200k to $500K in AGT performance and appearance fees plus a big "penalty bonus" on top of that if she was unaware that the restrictions that were being place on her didn't apply to her vocal competitors. While I highly doubt Ava Max is one of Daneliya's favorites (there is only one name of her "favorites" that I ever heard her mention over the years that I was unfamiliar with, and it could have been Ava), but regardless, a special thanks to Ava Max for doing such a well-balanced duet with our young world superstar Daneliya, and for your kind (and spot-on) words towards her at the end of the performance. EDIT 1: for legal reasons, I have retained proof of all the non-opinion, factual statements made above (including the aforementioned video).
