Mahikeng was my second home for 11 years until I came back to Pretoria in 2014. The town, Mahikeng is completely surrounded by villages since the land belongs to Barolong Boo Ratshidi tribal authority. 20km to the South, there is Ramatlabama border post to Botswana. What interesting is that you find Barolong in both countries, separate by border but under one chief. Batswana in general are peace loving people. Thanks for the video.
I am of the Barolong lineage myself but was born in Alexandra and grew up in Limpopo where my dad served in the the ZCC. It is interesting to learn a bit about what you have shared. My dad who passed on in 1978 came from Dithakwaneng village, Vryburg, but long before I was born he never had any contact with the area of his origins. I'd be interested to understand if the Barolong people also can be found there and what could one do to research further?
Yes Botswana is a beautiful place. I've been there four times doing Turbine-shutdowns at the Soda-Ash plant. I think in Sua. Wonderful people and the country is just out of this world. We used to drive around a lot seeing animals stroling around unaware of us. Completely free. After one such shutdown, we drove through to the Zimbabwean Waterfalls. I was amazed by how beautiful that place was. Just to think that God created everything and how blessed we as human beings really are.
The Capital of Bechunaland was Mahikeng. Before that Gauteng, Northern Cape and North West are all Botswana stolen land. The Kalahari is even worse, it’s in Botswana, South Africa and Namibia and we are one people still.
Sister Velile you are really an evangelist of rural living. I pray that God may bless me to be a big sponsor of your channel. I will certainly grow old in the rural areas, living the Sandton lifestyle without the Sandton expenses. You opened my eyes through this channel and I am indebted to you. Have a blessed week, till the next video 🙏
I am happy to hear that. It is really eye opening and I believe those who have ears will listen and do the right thing. Peace and love and have a blessed Sunday. 🙏🏾❤️
Wow I'm stunned and very excited. Do you showcase rural areas in all provinces sorry ask this is my first encounter with such a patriotic adventure. Keep up the good work may God richly bless you
This was breathtaking kannete hle ousi, I thoroughly enjoyed this video, the background music is just👌 I've always wanted a piece of land to build my own home but most of all, a big enough plot to plant my own vegetables and a few fruit trees.☺️
You cant enquire about land through emails , so in villages theres clans, Makgotlha, you visit the king, questions will be asked about your clan etc , they already know much so you cant lie, and it most cases they dont give land to ppl outside the clans ... If your clan is correct, recognised & your surname is local, you'll get the plot for free ... land bought from an individual is a no go area
Your spare time, petrol, car and cameras just for us? You are indeed an amazing human, being your hard work and dedication is highly appreciated thank you Ma! 👏🙏
Hello sis Velile. Your content is great as always and it provides useful information on vital developments in the rural SA. I may have asked this question before and that is: how do I acquire land in the rural SA as a motswana from Botswana for purposes of developing it into a small hotel thereby creating employment in the area. R6k to R10k sounds reasonable.
contact the chief but it will probably rise since you are a foreigner.....its sad that is happening especially since Mahikeng used to be the capital of Botswana
I am amazed about bout reasonable and affordable it is to get land in north west. I wanted to ask how can I contact the chief or the right people via WhatsApp or whatever way to Setup a meeting to buy land
My choice is between mahikeng and mpumalanga, my ancestral village is so far Eastern Cape I don't want to be far from Jhb coz I lived here all my life but I know I want to retire it the village and honor my gran who was scammed by a builder when she was building us a house in the eastern cape the builder just ran with her money
I definitely believe it’s possible because I even saw white people there who have acquired land and built their homes. Actually they are the ones who told me that the chief is the one that will help anyone who need to acquire land. Go ahead and visit the village, enquire and start your journey. All the best. 🙏🏾❤️
I'm looking for a site in kzn, in places like Showe,Vryheid nase Mpangeni but it has to be a rural village angazi how can i get one ibe nje +/-R10 000 onolwazi cela angisize.
@@makofaneG indeed, safety in rural areas is 10 times better than in townships and suburbs. Only witchcraft reputation is what rural areas are known for but everything else I think they are better especially when it comes to house spacing.
Hi sis🥰. Your videos are so informative. I'm so so glad I found your channel. How can I reach you. I'm interested in purchasing these affordable land/plots. Please get back to me. I'd like some more information. 💖
U mus def see the royal councils first for land. Its land of family dynasties The land is not sold to outsiders in our knowledge. You can prolly negotiate to rent it idk If they sell it (rare) it for an outsider it won't be same price. Zulu clan Pedi) Skhukhune clan
I’m wondering Do you get Title deed or any formal paperwork to show its yr land after payment from the chief ??I mean if it’s starting to develop like this government is surely coming and u need to show paperwork …Or I’m getting it wrong ?
You are wrong. It is not for sale it’s acquired firstly through ancestral lineage and now the law allows for people to acquire land as long as the chief and villagers agree. Watch my videos please because we can’t just comment based on what we want to hear. Thank you for watching. 🙏🏾❤️
Hi sisi. Ngicela ukubuza la. Senze njani these European Asian mining companies are coming in numbers to mine in rural KZN destroying our beautiful land and grazing land, polluting our water resources. It's only few people who get be employed by these mines but the negative outcomes effect tens of thousands of villagers. Senzenjani?
no they are creating jobs........the beautiful land is destroyed by politicians and powerful unionised thieving civil servants who dont do the job they are paid for which is to make sure water is not polluted and land is used according to existing standards. its not the investor but the overseer who is the problem. lets learn to call a spade a spade not scratch where its not itching
Aii Velile 💀 please give us the contacts of people selling land at that price. And could you kindly type the name of the village? I tried googling it but got different results
The name of the village is on the description of the video below. I have given you all information I can give you. You have to do your part. Thank you for watching. 🙏🏾❤️
I recently graduated from Grootfontein Agricultural College and i to start my farm. I have registered my company and everything is sorted business wise. I'm only struggling with acquiring the a piece of land. Anyone with a helpful information please kindly assist
Hi like the channel I was a sales man and travelled South Africa for 30 years 10000 km a month. But I am a dog handler also and I noticed you feed you dogs pellets that is very unhealthy feed them meat and some raw meat red meat not to much chicken rather liver kidneys. Pellets are terrible food
Please contact the chief of the village. What I always tell people is that they need to visit the village, meet the chief and enquire more. There is land there so please give yourself time to explore more and see if you like the village. All the best. 🙏🏾❤️
Thank you. Some people do let me know once they acquired land and strayed to build. It’s fulfilling and brings a smile on my face. I appreciate you all. 🙏🏾❤️
as young upcoming black man looking to get into the middle class my rural home will be a villa with swimming pool thanks mam Velile n showing that it is possible for us the media got us thinking theres nothing we can achieve if we dont move to the big cities. rural areas are better than townships.
I bought my land R 2000 @Ennerdale south of jhb. Builty house and moved there with my family last year. Stands are still available but at a higher price because the place is developing.😊
Hi sis V. i dont know if u can be able to give us the bird's eye view of these villages and houses so that we can see the landscape.thank u again for this video❤
@@khanyisakalipa9599 Thank you so much for sharing. Do you perhaps know how one goes about beginning the process of land acquisition? Looking forward to your reply! ♥️
Thank you. Let’s ride the journey with you and hope all is well and you are reaching your goals. I love comments like this. They motivate me to keep going. Peace and love. 🙏🏾❤️
In a traditional South African way, if one needs land in a village, they visit the village and ask around where they can find the chief of the village. Assuming one has interest in the village, they visit the chief and state their case. Please do that. The villagers will direct you. Please don’t make deals on the phone when it comes to land issues in rural areas. Let the chief direct you to plots available and deal direct with the chief. So many scammers out there. That is why I don’t put phone numbers. Rural land is for people and not for sale. The fee you pay is just an administration fee to the chief and the village and sometimes it’s split with the municipality to pay for Levies. All the best. 🙏🏾❤️
That is what I have just done in KZN. We went to the village after we had asked around for the chief we were directed to his house. We stated our case. He had some questions which were fairly reasonable. He instructed us what needed to be done . We came back days later to do what they called ukukhonzela enduneni. Thank you Sisi Velile. This channel motivated me to buying land in the village.

Someone on the comments says u are evangelising, she is 100% right. May I tell u something cc, we as christians God stresses to some of us that we must move to rural areas for reasons we christians know. To cut the long story short u are doing God's work if u were not aware. ❤
