I agree with you about SD70s being one of the best looking engines ever made. If you want to see a gorgeous paint job on one of these, look up a Southern Pacific SD70ACe. It'll be in the black widow paint scheme and I LOVE it!

Model swap, that was good. It’s great when your significant other is part of the hobby. My wife supports my addition and has accumulated a decent stable of BNSF units which she likes.

Hey Eric..Like you Im a fan of the SD70..just looks right..Like a 4-8-4 Loco..Your girl has good taste ..I just got my SF SD70 and unboxed it yesterday morn with my Grandson..I was blown away ..what a Beautiful pc..My grandson whos 4 told his Gram..Gram look at MY cool new diesel!! she asked if it really was his and he said Yes..I love it so its mine Papa said ..lol thanks for your great videos

WMGFT is Great! Well, after this, i should think over a new format WMDLT (what my daughter Luisa think). Weil done Format, i love it to watch. The Sounds are wunderful, light up in the cabin, start of these great machines.... Powerful! Greetings Thomas

This coming Monday (November 15th) is opening day for firearm deer hunting in Michigan. Ontario Knifes are very popular for field dressing a deer. After that is done I take the deer to a butcher shop. It all comes back to me labeled and wrapped in white paper. Cool SD70AC demo. • Cheers from the Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂

Been watching u on RU-vid now for long time its great how u explain everything if u have a girlfriend that supports the hobby boys and our toys thats great love the bridge cutting ceremony most of all u have the public event every year i think its so important to get our youth into a hobby that is good with all the bad going on we need keep the next generation going into the hobby good luck to u in your future and also don't let that young lady go good luck Eric .

Nice SD 70's , I think their are more older EMD's the older GE'S. The SD70'S are used in the Desert in Australia , They also have the Best Prime mover sound From the 567 to the 710.

Nice video I would like to know if Lionel has improved it's quality control . One third of the Lionel trains that I've bought new have been defective out of the box. These defects include wheels that wont turn because the trucks are defective and wiring that was not soldered correctly to begin with !

Dan, I have experienced much the same thing, although my rate is 1/2 of all new Lionel purchases of engines and railsounds cars have had to be returned for factory repair work right out of the box. Please, please Lionel improve quality control in manufacturing. I love the new designs and features you are creating. They are GREAT, but now I almost dread taking a new engine or railsounds car out of the box just hoping this time it works right and I don't have to send it back to Lionel repair which with postage and return often takes 3 months plus.
